Wolves Updates 11-13 Part 2 E-mail

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, a Mark Madsen who is president of the Woodside Technology Group, the group that maintains Mad Dog's website, contributed $2500 towards the campaign supporting California's Proposition 8. That is way more disappointing than the team's record.

According to Wolves coach Randy Wittman and VP basketball operations Kevin McHale, Al Jefferson flew from the Bay Area back home to Mississippi on Wednesday to attend to a family matter, missed Thursday’s practice and is expected to rejoin the team before Saturday’s game against Portland

The Blowtorch on an imagined conversation between Kevin Love and Andris Biedrins.

Chad Ford/ESPN on 2009's restricted free agents.
8. Rashad McCants, Timberwolves
McCants is a good scorer and showed that he can be an excellent 3-point shooter. But he's really more of a sixth man than a dominant 2-guard. With Mike Miller and Corey Brewer on board, McCants could see his production dip a bit this season.

FELDY: Still, it's difficult to feel good about a 1-6 start after all the moves this team made during the offseason -- adding Love and Mike Miller, and ridding themselves of clowns such as Marko Jaric. I know you have your room plastered with Kevin Love posters and photos, but it's tough to look at the numbers O.J. Mayo is putting up in Memphis (21 points per game, 45.4 percent FG shooting, 43.9 percent 3-point shooting) then look at Randy Foye (10 ppg, 34.5 percent FG shooting, 24 percent 3-point shooting) and feel good about the draft-day trade that sent Mayo to Memphis for Love.
