Click here for the forum's thread on tonight's game at Charlotte.

Game previews:

Scott at Wolves Watch posts a review of the team's performance in the last week.

After a 1-8 start, that represents progress for the Timberwolves, who have split their past six games, including a 106-97 home loss to the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night.

That's a trend the Wolves probably wouldn't mind continuing on their first East Coast road trip of the season, which begins with a game tonight at Charlotte (5-11).

For now, Love is back coming off the bench after a four-game trial as a starter. Wittman's starting five puts Jefferson and Gomes where they say they feel most comfortable and has brought more consistency to Wittman's playing rotations.

The Wolves are 3-3 in their past six games -- 3-4 with Collins as starting center -- after a 1-8 start. They will begin a three-game Eastern Conference swing tonight at Charlotte.

Randy Wittman said it had been 25 years since he had been in Assembly Hall for a basketball game prior to Sunday.

But this was about family. Wittman watched his son, Ryan, a 6-6 junior forward for the Cornell Big Red, play against Indiana.

The younger Wittman scored a career-high 28 points in Cornell's 72-57 loss.
