Al Jefferson had his torn anterior cruciate ligament repaired Wednesday by a New York City surgeon, who, according to McHale, cleaned up some cartilage damage that will slow Jefferson's recuperation initially but shouldn't delay his expected six- to eight-month recovery period.

"The only good news about surgery is that, as of the next day, the healing process begins," McHale said. "It might as well be six to eight months from today."

Jefferson is expected to spend the next week in New York to ensure the knee doesn't swell or get infected.

Don Seeholzer/Pioneer Press on tomorrow's trade deadline.
"It's always hard to say," Wolves general manager Jim Stack said Wednesday. "You need both sides to feel good about getting an equitable deal, so it's hard for me to speculate on that right now. I'm talking to a lot of teams, like we do this time of year, and it remains to be seen if there's something to be done."

Stack wouldn't comment specifically on Hinrich, who was replaced by rookie Derrick Rose as the Bulls' starting point guard this season. But ESPN.com and Yahoo.com both reported he has drawn strong interest from Minnesota. Yahoo.com reported Hinrich could be packaged with guard Thabo Sefolosha in a straight trade for Wolves center Jason Collins and forward Brian Cardinal.

Point guard is arguably the Wolves' No. 1 need, but Stack said they are looking at a lot of scenarios to improve the team.

And as Life & Style already reported, there is no hope for Khloe, 24, and her ex-boyfriend, the Minnesota Timberwolves' Rashad McCants, 24. "Rashad is still trying to use Khloe for publicity!" the insider says. "He flew himself to Las Vegas last weekend and tried to crash a party that Khloe was hosting, but Khloe thinks he's a loser."

The loans are essential for guys, which are willing to organize their company. By the way, it is not hard to receive a credit loan.
