It's not exactly a loose end, but nothing the Wolves do this offseason will be as important as how Jefferson handles his rehabilitation following season-ending knee surgery. With a healthy Jefferson, multiple draft choices and money to spend in free agency, this could be a much-improved team next season. If he doesn't come all the way back, as McHale said recently, "A lot of bets are off." There's no reason for concern at this early stage, but the Wolves have their fingers crossed that Jefferson can make good on his promise to come back better than ever.



The Twins, Timberwolves and Wild all won Tuesday night. Nearly a year ago, on April 11, the trio also won games on the same day, with the Twins defeating Kansas City, the Wolves defeating Orlando and the Wild beating Colorado.
