Wolves record: 1-7

The 41-point margin of defeat equaled the largest in team history, tying a 113-72 defeat at Miami on March 5, 1996.

This also was the most points allowed by a Wolves team since Golden State torched them for 146 on the same court on April 1, 1994.

The landmark defeat extended the Wolves' skid to seven games since an opening night victory over New Jersey.

"No one's going to feel sorry for us, for this game or losing seven in a row," forward Ryan Gomes said. "We've got to do something in this locker room. We have to take it personally and make sure it doesn't happen again."

Something had to give and again it was the Wolves, who succumbed by allowing 74 before halftime and 111 by the end of three quarters.

Jonny Flynn had 20 points, six assists and five rebounds while Al Jefferson added 18 points to lead Minnesota, which lost its seventh straight. The Timberwolves, who haven't won since beating New Jersey by two points in the season-opener, committed 28 turnovers.
