Game Previews:

From Adam Czech/MN Speak: Wolves Feel Jefferon's Pain

Wolves forward Al Jefferson will rejoin the team on Monday. He left Thursday to be with his family in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., after the death of his grandmother Annie Bell Randolph, who was 83.

"I'll give it a resounding 'OK,' " Rambis said after playing starter Jonny Flynn and backup Ramon Sessions for the final 8:13 of the first half. "It's not jumping out at me as one of my favorite things."

That might have something to do with the fact that the Timberwolves were outscored 17-7 in that span, and 13-2 over the last five minutes. The Timberwolves made only four of 23 shots in the period. Worse, the lineup forced waif-thin Corey Brewer to defend much beefier Dallas forward Shawn Marion, and while Brewer put up an admirable fight, and even stole the ball twice, Marion scored three point-blank baskets in that span.
