Unfortunately for Wolves fans, this time of year has been the most exciting over the past three seasons. It's a time to speculate on what steps your team can make to get back to the playoffs and start making some noise. In negative news, the Wolves and their "braintrust" got the 3rd pick in an advertised two-man draft. In positive news, we have positive debate in the forums on what to do with the pick and it's good to hear we don't have to listen to a country-music station to listen to the Wolves next year.
With all of the debate raging over what to do with the draft pick, it's important to remember that the Wolves have to make some decisions on its existing roster. Here at the Twolves Blog, we want to continue the discussions about this teams direction with in our series, the "Blogprint for the Future," which will include contributions from various TWolvesBlog contributors and guests, as this team transforms during the off-season.

Invitation to the Mailbag Party...
Time for the next TWolvesblog Open Mailbag for anyone that is interested in sending any questions and/or thoughts, and I'll anwer them as soon as I get a sufficient amount of submissions. Don't be afraid to send stuff in (I don't want to have to make stuff up!) Heck, I promise that I'll even answer them all... I'm like an Equal Opportunity Employer.
There might not be a ton of Timberwolves related discussion pieces right now, but there are still plenty of things to write in about: The NBA Finals/playoffs so far, The Wolves roster conundrum, to keep or not to keep our various free agents, the amazing leadership of our franchise Head Coach/Front Office situation, the upcoming NBA draft and what the Wolves should do, OJ "stud" Mayo -vs- Brook "stiff" Lopez, what you like or don't like, nights out on the town, random crap... the possibilities are endless!
Or you can just email me and tell me that I suck. It's all good.

College Wolf and DeROK Co-KG Cast: ECF Game 6
Tonight: College Wolf and DeROK
Game: Celtics Win Game 6: 89-81.
The Celtics win the Eastern Conference.
KG and the Boston Celtics did it! They are in the NBA Finals. They vanquished the Detroit Pistons tonight in six games, reserving the right to face the hated L.A. Lakers in the Finals for the eleventh time in the NBA annuls. Tonight, DeROK and College Wolf are bringing you the "KG Cast - Episode 14", in which the Celtics return to the Finals for the first time in over 20 years. The Celtics won a tough Game 6 tonight on the road, and will face a white hot Lakers squad this Thursday for Game 1. Will the Celtics be able to stop nine time champion coach Phil Jackson? Or will Kobe Bryant and his motley crew be enough to overcome Boston's Big Three? Check it out~

College Wolf and Bonk Co-KG Cast: ECF Game 5
Tonight: College Wolf and Bonk
Game: Celtics Win Game 5: 106-102.
Celtics lead ECF 3-2.
College Wolf and Bonk here bringing you the "KG Cast - Episode 13",
after tonight's decisive Game 5 win against the Detroit Pistons. We've got a big show for you tonight as the Celtics won 106-102, and are ONE win away from the NBA Finals! The series heads back to Detroit for Game 6 on Friday night. Will the Celtics be able to close out this series on the road, and avoid a third Game 7? Or... will it come down to the bitter end yet again? It looks like KG-PP-RA are back to being the "Big Three", as they combined for a huge 78 points en route to victory. The key question is whether or not this was a flash in the pan from Ray Allen. If so, the Celtics could be in trouble once again. Kendrick Perkins was our Player of the Game, in what was possibly the best game of his young career. We also go "Around The NBA" to discuss the Lakers-Spurs series, our favorite individual San Antonio Spurs player, the controversial last second non-call in Game 4, and lastly our run in with Tony Parker at the Escape Ultra Lounge VIP two seasons ago. Check it out~

College Wolf and Bonk Co-KG Cast: ECF Game 2
Tonight: College Wolf and Bonk
Game: Celtics Lose Game 2: 97-103.
ECF Tied 1-1.
College Wolf and Bonk here bringing you the "KG Cast - Episode 12",
after tonight's Game 2 loss to the Detroit Pistons. The Celtics fell 97-103 in what is their first home loss of the 2007-08 NBA Playoffs. The series is now tied one game apiece, and shifts to Motown for Game 3 on Saturday night. Like Stella, Ray Allen may have finally gotten his groove back. Unfortunately, the Pistons also played great, and were finally able to steal a home tilt from the Celtics. The Big Three combined for 75 points, but had little other offensive help; while the Detroit Pistons were very balanced, with all their starters scoring in double figures. The 800 pound gorilla sitting squarely in the middle of the room is whether or not the Celtics will finally be able to win a game on the road during these playoffs. The next chance is this Saturday. I think they can, and will. Check it out~

College Wolf and Bonk Co-KG Cast for Game 1 of the ECF,
as well as initial NBA Draft Lottery Thoughts...
Tonight: College Wolf and Bonk
Game: Celtics Win Game 1: 88-79.
Celtics Lead ECF 1-0.
College Wolf and Bonk here bringing you the "KG Cast - Episode 11", after tonight's big Game 1 win in the Eastern Conference Finals by the Boston Celtics. They dispatched the Detroit Pistons 88-79, in what will surely prove to be an intense and very hard-fought series... for the right to advance to the NBA Finals! What's wrong with Ray Allen out there? Does anyone have any answers? KG and PP came up huge again, practically willing the Celtics to victory. The Celtics remain perfect at home, but will they be able to win when it counts on the road? Also, we've got a special extended "Around the NBA" segment, with thoughts and analysis from tonight's NBA Draft Lottery results. Wolves pick #3. Much depression ensues. Check it out~

Tonight: College Wolf
Game: Celtics Win 97-92.
Celtics Win Series 4-3.
College Wolf here bringing you the "KG Cast - Episode 10", after this afternoon's Game 7 clinching win by the Celtics, over the Cleveland LeBrons. Despite a monster game from LeBron James (45 points, 5 rebs, 6 assts), the Gang In Green was able to pull of the big win. Led by 41 points from "The Truth", the Celtics closed out the Cavs in seven games, earning them a date with the Detroit Pistons Tuesday night... which also happens to be the same night as the NBA Draft Lottery! Woohoo I'm ecstatic! Will the Celtics be able to pull it out against the more experienced Detroit Pistons? Will the Celtics be the first ever team to win the NBA Finals with a record of 16-12? I also cover the recent games and events in the "Around The NBA" portion of the podcast. Check it out~

Tonight: College Wolf
Game: Cavs over Celtics 88-77.
Series tied 2-2.
College Wolf here bringing you the somber KG Cast - Episode 9. The Celtics lost both road games in Cleveland, allowing the Cleveland LeBrons to come back and tie up the series two games a piece. I've got the game recap in regards to what went right and what went wrong, in my expert, humble opinion. Is Ray Allen toast? Could the Celtics actually lose this series? All that and more from Around the NBA. Check it out.

Tonight: College Wolf
Game: Celtics over Cavs 89-73, Game 2.
Celtics take 2-0 series lead.
College Wolf is again soloing the KG Cast - Episode 8. Bonk and DeROK are both on vacation, but once they get back we'll have some more "Co-Casts." So... you are all going to have to tough it out with me until then. After a slow start, the Celtics came back to utterly dominate the Cavs in every facet of the game. The 15 point final margin was closer than the game truly was. LeBron couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, going 6 for 24 from the field. LeBron is now shooting 8 of 42 on the series. If he doesn't turn things around soon the Cavs are toast. Lastly, I also go around the NBA with action from last nights games' and some other NBA tidbits. Check it out.

Tonight: College Wolf
Game: Celtics over Cavs 76-72, Game 1.
Celtics take 1-0 series lead.
College Wolf is rolling solo again for KG Cast - Episode 7. I promise I'm getting the hang of this thing, and its definitely much better (and smoother) than my first solo podcast. The Boston Celtics took Game 1 in the second round of the NBA Playoffs against the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight. KG took over in crunch time, leading the Celtics to an extremely hard fought victory, 76-72. Almost all the other big stars suffered in tonight's game, resulting in horrible efforts from Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and LeBron James. Also, I go Around The NBA and discuss last night's games, which resulted in the Detroit Pistons and New Orleans Hornets both taking 2-0 series' leads over the Orlando Magic and defending champion San Antonio Spurs, respectively. Check it out.
