Ok, here’s how this one’s going down.  Obviously Bonk and I weren’t at the game as it was at the Palace in Auburn Hills.  Anyhow… I was enjoying…..ummm…*soda’s* during this game.  So, my thoughts are unedited and unadulterated.  Here’s my objective quarter by quater breakdown of tonight’s festitivites:

Well, I rolled to the Wolves game last night with Bonk, and I’ve got some thoughts I’d like to share.  You won’t find any sugar coating or fluff pieces from me, so if that’s what you’re looking for you’ll have to continue your search elsewhere.

I know, I know… I’ve been slacking. I really wanted to do a Power Rankings every two weeks or so, but I’ve been busier than I would like lately. However, I promise I’ll update them at least once a month minimum. That’s not too much to ask, is it?

Imagine my surprise coming back from a week of vacationing in Mexico to getting lambasted with all these AI trade rumors and speculation.  How exciting! Thid was first news I saw at the Airport in the dirty, dirty A.T.L. while we were waiting for our connecting flight back to Minneapolis.  In Mexico we had ESPN and some other sports (read: soccer) channel and that was about it.  However, ESPN was in Spanish.  And it mostly played Soccer highlights.  Not a big help for keeping up on the NBA or anything other than soccer.

Kevin Garnett is the incredibly hot chick with the loser boyfriend. She is all around hot. Nice body, nice personality, but has some ugly, loser boyfriend that keeps holding her back.

I had an article almost completed detailing possible trade destinations for KG this season, and what we could reasonably expect to receive in return. However, the more I typed and considered each possibility, the more depressed I became. We shouldn’t trade KG. I don’t want to trade KG. We can’t trade KG. no comments

Perhaps we could blame the officiating?  But it wasn’t overly bad.  Or, at least not noticeably so.

The Contenders :

1.  Spurs:  (Over/Under 55.5)

               My pre-season favorite to win it all this year.  You can look for at least a 60 win season from the rejuvenated potential number one squad out west.  Tim Duncan is hungry and healthy, a very deadly combination indeed.  This is a team that came within one stupid foul from making the Finals last season, even without a fully healthy Duncan.  The Over seems like a pretty safe bet for this squad to me.

Snake bitten.

That’s how I feel.  Luckily it wasn’t a venomous snake.  It’s not going to kill me.  I will survive and come back stronger than before. It’s like looking for water in an unknown land and turning over a rock to find a snake, rather than an oasis.  Disappointing and a little annoyance followed by a brief flash of pain. Don’t worry, it won’t slow me down too much.
