The Old Logo: I felt somewhat like I did in January 1999 when Gary Anderson missed that field goal against the Falcons.
That was the first thing to go through my head too. It is quite a bit below the Anderson miss. I actually went into the bathroom because I thought I was going to throw up twice the day after that miss.
I can't remember any other times where I felt dazed by a sporting event. Like I was punch drunk almost.

I was at that game with my dad in like the 5th row. It was a struggle to sleep for a solid week or so after that loss.

Question: "Why do you shoot so many Threes?"
Antoine Walker: "Because there are no Fours."

I'm with you there, it was definitely below that for me, too, but only because I decided after that game and after I was done sulking how silly it was for me to be that heavily invested in sports that it could afect my day. That's what made this a gut shot. I tried to stay calm and cool, but when I saw Seattle and Memphis get the fourth and fifth, I couldn't help it. During that commercial break I just kept thinking about Rose and Beasley and the new look Wolves and then, bang, foot to the nuts. That sucked so bad.

Exactly. Going into the evening, I would've been fine without a top 2 pick. I didn't expect it, and knew it was about a 1/4th chance. However, after we were in the final 3, and Chicago was one of the other teams......WOW. Then it really seemed like it was GOING TO HAPPEN. That is what made is so tragic, was that I had a rush of hope for 3-4 minutes during that commercial break, and like you said, I was also daydreaming of Beasley/Rose & the new look Wolves. That is why is was such a heartbreaker last night. What a ****** tease.

I will not be commenting on this draft other than this one post. I have refrained until now, and I can compose myself long enough to type this.
I was running on the treadmill at the gym watching it on ESPN. I couldn't hear it, but I had subtitles, the logo, and Hoiberg's body language to tip me off. The ensuing string of cuss words were so violently obscene that I had to be scolded and warned by the employees. However, before they made their way up to me, I successfully broke the buttons on the treadmill by slamming my head into them as my legs gave out from disappointment. I now have reinjured my wrist, I have a concussion, I owe the gyme a new treadmill, and we have the THIRD FYCKING pick.
Please refrain from asking me to participate in any draft discussion as the doctor as ordered me to ignore anything related to it....
Have a good day. At least the Celtics won.

Chuck Norris once challenged Lance Armstrong in a "Who has more testicles?" contest.
Chuck Norris won by 5.
