My first though also. If it isn't though, then it is an unmitigated disaster.

My changes:

1. lose the tree trim on the collar. The design is an each way bet.

2. Change the numbering to something more conventional. Join the 21st century.

3. Agree on the shorts trim. Get some.

I like:

1. The pale trim on the armholes.

2. Kept the blue. Nice move.

3. Using "Minnesota" on the road strip.

I've been trying to talk myself into this jersey, but I think it's a train-wreck.

I also don't think he's wearing an old jersey under the new one, because if you remove the treeline, then the neck hole is incredibly wide.

I agree, these things are awful. I really hope these aren't legitimately the new uni's. I think MMaland is just trying to get a rise out of us. I hate the grey lettering and stripe on the side. Eliminate the grey! And I also think the neck thing is so weird looking. Overall, I think they look more like WNBA jerseys than NBA jerseys, and agree that they are too "futurisic" as opposed to looking "old school". I was excited to get a new jersey (still not sure who to get between Al/Love/Telfair/Brewer - probably AL), but now - not so much. Seriously, how can the Wolves staff or whoever decided on these like them? I really hope these aren't for real.

Sigh...........these are awful........the letters and font looks like a 1st grader wrote them. The trees on the neck...come on...looks like some granny dresses that have too much pattern on them....the only think I like about them is that it is has a nice solid blue color to them, other than that...what a disappointment.

To clear up this confusion (I think), what he is wearing is the real deal. Especially when you combine it with that alternate jersey from the NBA Live '09 avatar that someone leaked. The photo of Love is a leak from Getty images that wasn't supposed to get out. If you go to ESPN.com there is a fluff interview with Love and THAT'S the practice jersey he's wearing over the real jersey. The crime to humanity that he is wearing in the picture with the ball spinning is the "hidden" real jersey. Isn't there some league policy too where you have to have the jersey for at least a year before you can change it? Oh for the love of god why Twolves why?

P.S. picture Brian Cardinal in one of these and try and not throw up in your mouth.

You're not in the minority, pretty much everyone HATES the new jerseys. Everything I've seen about them on the web just talks about how disgustingly ugly they are.

I can't believe some design firm got paid a small fortune to come up with this. The jersey looks like it was designed by a random drunk guy from the future who came back to 2008 to drink all of our beer and design the ugliest jersey in sports. This jersey would be ugly even for a WNBA jersey. No one is going to buy this thing, who would want to be seen in public wearing that?

IT'S SO UGLY. I can't even look at it.

The one and only consolation in all of this is that I haven't heard of a single person who likes these yet. There's no way they can keep them. Maybe for a season at the most, but I wouldn't be surprised if we had new ones by the start of the season. We're going to be a joke in those things!
