What's that??? A road team actually won and finished off a playoff series??? Yes, that's right!!! It was not KG and it was not Chris Paul...in which they both had a chance to win a game six and close out their respective series. But it was Kobe and the gang went in to Utah and took care of business...
Utah was the toughest team in the NBA at home this season, yet that would not stop the MVP along with his teammates a trip to the Western Conference Finals! Yet they took care of business.
I think the Lakers will be meeting the Spurs, because Manu, Duncan, and Parker are going to step it into another gear in game 7 and close out the Hornets on the road and the Spurs will also take care of business...

REgardless of everyone's feelings about KG on this site, please God let this Cavs/Celtics series end. 74-69? And it wasn't even good D, it was bad shooting on both ends. And it's not the teams themselves, it's the teams playing each other. I think games before the shot clock were probably more exciting.
I'm predicting Celtics at home (probably in a blowout) and I'm going to say the Spurs win because of the reasons KG4LVP stated and because David West's back won't allow him to challenge Duncan like he has all series.
Lakers-Jazz, with the exception of one game, was a really fun series to watch. Even though the Hornets won't get there, I think Lakers-Hornets would have been a riot.

I think it's pretty clear Stern wants the Lakers to go deep into the playoffs for monetary/ratings reasons.
The officiating was so one-sided in the LA/Utah series it was sickening.

Chuck Norris once challenged Lance Armstrong in a "Who has more testicles?" contest.
Chuck Norris won by 5.

The refs give Lebron and Kobe so many calls I don't even care to elaborate on it. It's disgusting. KG or Pierce touch Lebron and it's a foul. They pull Josh Smith to the ground, nothing called. Same with Kobe... Don't feel like talking about it. Pisses the Daddy off.

You know what is funny...people were saying that KG plays well and I don't give any credit...well the same thing happens here with Kobe...Maybe Kobe actually won some games for his team...oh wait we can;t give credit to him...it is the refs...that is the only reason that the Lakers won and why James is so good...

? What F****** world do you live in KG4LVP? Kobe is not a former member of this team and staple for 12 years. Fyck him. He's the best player in the world, I hear enough about him everyday elsewhere. I would go to a LAKER message board to talk about him. I'm sure you were referring to the Kobe/CP3 thread, but I didn't read that much - didn't care to. So my apologies if this wasn't directed at the Daddy.
Lebron and Kobe, despite their greatness, get ridiculous calls. No, they don't determine series, but they sway momentum at times. That was my point. KG clearly pushes people all the time (See Josh Smith's sore back) but it doesn't get called in the ATL series, only against Bron. It's a case of a superstar getting trumped by a megastar.

The above post was just as due for a chill out as the Daddy's post.
