This spells trouble for LA 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago Howls: 48
If I am Phil Jackson, I’m NOT sleeping well at all. Game 3 might have actually been a confidence booster for THE CELTICS. Let’s recap shall we. Travel with El Padre back to the end of the 4th quarter…

Kobe’s wraith has been felt. He has pissed on Pierce all game while shutting him down on D. Kobe played great, nuff said. Their defense stepped up and was much more active. Pau did a very good job of getting his hands up and contesting. Vujacic was fantastic, giving them an unexpected lift. Despite the Lakers struggles offensively, I think Laker fans would take it, as they know every game will be a struggle against this defense.

With that said, had it not been for KG and Pierce playing like complete horse’s @sses and Doc refusing to just run screen after screen for Ray THEY WOULD HAVE WON! Ray could have double dub smacked the Lakers last night. 40 was not unattainable for Ray last night. I have seen that body language from his before. Great job Doc. Force the ball to two men who seemingly have no idea what sport they are playing tonight – Great.

Now, back to PadreHuevosGordos and my thoughts on why LA is in trouble. That game was the game for them to wreck the Celtics. Maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t see Odom having much more of an impact. So other than Odom having an above average game, the Lakers took their best shot and barely come out alive. The Celtics played horribly, yet had a chance. Celtics fans shouldn’t be too worried.

In my mind... all the Celtics have to do is win ONE out of three in LA and they will be golden!!!

The Celtics need to win one to remain in the drivers seat. I don't call them golden until the parade is scheduled.

Fair enough, good point my friend.

You have stated very well my exact feelings. And I am surprised at Odom's seeming lack of interest in the game. He's really kinda stepped his game down for the series. I love Vujacic's play though, he's like a water bug on defense, scooting around picks & bothering his man.

I'm guessing KJ gets it into his head to show Gasol how the game is played in the next couple of contests. Gasol has made KG look ineffective, and it's time for a snap back to form.

You are a better man than I am. My KG pride wouldn't allow me to admit this terrible fact. KG4LVP better hold off on changing his name. Two swamptrash games in a row? Let's get it Garnett...

Oye PadreHuevosGordos,

Your post was on the money (as usual). The Celtics barely lost despite their big 2 playing horribly on offense, and Kobe shooting above 50% for +30 points. This game was an abberation, not a trend. I am as confident as ever that the C's are gettin that 'ship.

I'm going to be yelling "I told you so at TV" to all the blathering idiots who are performing fellatio (is that too dirty?) on Sasha Vujacic right now. The result of that one big game is going to be 2-4 games of chucking ill-advised bricks. I can't wait.
