CONGRADUATION TO KEVIN GARNETT. HE IS NOW A CHAMPION!
WOW...I never thought this would happen...it was awsome seeing the passion and emotion out of KG. That is why Wolves fans love him so much and that is why he deserves it. It would of been such a waste to never see the emotion of KG winning a championship, but I am so glad that I got to see that tonight. KG is a GREAT PLAYER AND TRULY A GREAT CHAMPION.

CONGRADUATION!

First off, PROPS TO KG!!!!! His winning a championship his first year away from the timberwolves does make you sort of wonder though....why couldn't we win with him? We did have 12 tries.........

So to conclude, thank you KG for showing the rest of the league the kind of respect you deserve from them, the kind we knew you deserved all along. But thank you also for showing to the rest of the league and fans everywhere what an utterly dysfunctional and inept front-office we have.

I was excited for him but at the same time, I also saw that while he is a true great as far as a player goes, he needed the likes of a Paul Pierce *and* Ray Allen to help him win it all.

That's not putting any knock on him but I think it simply points out that in today's NBA, you need either TWO Superstars and a bunch of good roleplayers(Think Miami in '06) or THREE Superstars and a bunch of solid old and young roleplayers(Think....well...THIS TEAM Boston).

And the more I think about it, the more I truly believe that we will never achieve that level of greatness with McFail making the decisions at GM.

I agree. I find it odd how Taylor will spend big bucks to sign so-so players to long-term contracts (Marko, T-Hud, etc) but he won't spend money on quality players, be it through contract extensions (Cassell) or free agents/trades (Iverson, etc).

We've had horrible drafts over the years. Trading Ray Allen and Brandon Roy away, drafting Ebi, etc.

I think we will keep sucking until McHale and/or Taylor is gone.

I'm doing my best to convince myself that McHale and Taylor have learned something from all their failures. We'll have a clear answer to to that question in 6 months.

We'll have the answer to that question in a few days.

We'll either have Mayo or Beasley and have hope, or Lopez or Love and a very good reason to abandon NBA basketball.
