Well ... I would like to say: "You read it here first". Not, that I haven't seen this coming...

Posted my opinion on that in several other threads already, so I'll spare you from my usual repetion. I'll simply keep my fingers crossed that this will work out. If it does, they won't miss Posey a bit. If not ... well, I hope the deal's not too much since the Blazers will still pay him a lot.

I was just wondering ... is really anyone thinking "what a great thing that this screws up Portland's cap space if it works out" thinking that everything that hurts the Blazers future helps the Wolves' in this "rebuilding race" in which the Blazers always seemed way in front.

I think it's a great move by the Celtics. Super low risk, potential for a big reward. If anything bad happens, they can cut him and move on.

Plus, you gotta love that it hurts Portland's cap! Ainge is scratching McHale's back for once!

I always thought that Miles would play with KG here in 'sota. Should be fun to watch them together in Boston then.

How funny would it be to see the Celtics playing the Blazers when Miles gets hurt before the requisite 10 games go by.

That would be the epitome of irony. I'd laugh.

I always liked Miles he was even kind of funny in that mtv movie but he will be interesting to watch him play with KG, the ticket will bring out the best in Miles.

I concur. I think Miles will work out pretty well in Boston, provided he can stay healthy and actually play on those knees of his.
