Alright, I figured out the Barnes' thing. Basically to anyone else out there who didn't know, if you have someone's Bird rights, they are a FA that anyone can sign, but you can go over the cap to keep them since you have their Bird rights. CWolf could've spent 30 seconds to tell me that, but instead I spent a half hour on that slowass site to figure it out. Thanks buddy.

Also sucks I missed out on most of the FA signings. Oh well, its just a free league so I guess it doesn't really matter.

I did tell you to just go sign him...

Actually I rejected the 3way trade with Atlanta and Washington and proposed a new, very slightly different one that I just approved. It doesn't affect Atlanta, so you should go approve it again.

Thoughts Washington? It gives you even more salary freedom now...

Not happy. I would have increased my offer but Okur's agent dropped the ball on this one.

Alas, I traded for Spencer Hawes to fufill my hole at Center/PF. God help me.

The business of having offers but not being able to sign a deal is tricky. Felton and Okur had offers mid last week but it wasn't until Friday after I'd checked the site that Okur had a sign-able deal. Then I wasn't around. Felton never seemed to get enough offers to be sign.

I don't know for sure b/c I'm not an agent, but there is a way to make it not accept a deal when you are away from the computer. birdbrain has been on vacation for who knows how long now and none of his guys have been signed even though they've received a zillion offers.

I don't really have any thoughts on how to fix this, just mess around with it a bit.

How do you know this?!!

I originally offered 3 yrs for $6 mil, but someone just offered him the full mid-level for one year.

I have his bird rights & I don't want to lose him. My bench is basically non-exsistent.

HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS?!?!

This game confuses me...

If you go to the "Rumors" tab it tells you how much/how many years free agents are getting offered as well as the division of the team that offered them the deal.

Also, # of years are very highly coveted by free agents in this game for some reason. Even more so than money. You could probably get him for 3 yrs, $9 mil unless he gets another offer...

Also I'll pass on the trade offer you sent me, Oden is going to be a stud this year. Maybe I'll send a counter offer.

EDIT: Sorry, I hadn't read the comments on your trade proposal yet. Makes more sense now.

P.S. Why on earth do you want Devon Hardin?

See! Q&A's should be that easy, especially where we're on a friendly forum... I think CW is just upset that he didn't get Okur...

I don't understand how "outrageous" it is that I ended up signing him. I offered him the best contract and he had something like 75/100 incentive to play here. I'll be buying out players fairly soon (Granted that agents don't get stingy) and I'll be shoring up my team for him. I'm a bit upset at stewsa though.... as I'm sure everybody else in the league is. Grr...

ps: Pants:, check your private messages on that site :]
I have absolutely NO ties to Minnesota. No family/friends there, no one I know that's a fan of anything Minnesota, and never set foot anywhere close to there.

I'm just a normal guy who randomly picked the wrong team to cheer for as a kid.

Looks like Washington cancelled it and offered another one.

I approved the new one. Check it out.

Weird how you've been on the receiving end of all the most shadiest deals in the game, not to mention some of the worst deals I've ever seen in real or fantasy sports. EVER.

Let's do a rundown:

1. rights to Pekovic and some stiffs for Boozer and Ronnie Brewer. Yep that's legit.

2. Worst trade I've ever seen in my life PERIOD

3. Perovic, the least wanted player in the whole game whom the Warriors GM tried to give away for weeks for 3 promising young players. Yep, that's definitely legit.

4. Washington traded the #5 pick (AKA Rubio) for Foye & Miller in the 1st place and now he's trading Bosh & Foye to get Rubio who might not even play in the NBA for 2 years? Basically he gave away a top 10 fantasy player in Bosh for nothing while Minny snags Horford, Teague, and Foye in the deal. SO LEGIT.

This team should be disqualified. It's only fair.

Well... I know we'd never ever beat C.W's team from the start. Aye, I hear you though, some really funny deals. Mind you I tried to milk the Clips/Jazz/Wizards for some lopsided deals thinking they had no friggin' clue but they wouldn't bite. C.W. you must be a very persuasive man.

Not my fault. The Utah worst GM in history offered that trade to me. You saw his team. What was I supposed to do? Plus Boozer declined his option and I lost him in free agency. I wanted to keep him.

The Clippers GM offered that trade too. I don't think he knew how everything worked because he had just joined. Again, not my fault.

This last 3-way trade was not originally offered by me either. What am I supposed to do??? Not accept trades? Geeeez.
