I've emailed the site as to why agents don't seem to be able to drop clients that they've negotiated buyouts for.

Hopefully they send a response soon.

Swimmer, i sent you a reply to your message regarding player options and I thought it worked but it must not have.

Player options are entirely seperate and not related to buyouts.

What they're saying the rules is that if you have a client with a player option and you decline it to become a free agent, you must find them a new contract.

This is to keep agents from signing players who are overpaid and declining their options as favors to GMs.

So no, I'm positive that that is not the answer to our buyout problem.

But yea, I've emailed the site on this and I'll let you know what they say when I get a response.

This is completely contradictory to the point of buyouts.

Isn't the whole reason behind a buyout that the player is so undesirable that the team is willing them to pay their whole contract just to get them off the team? Why would other teams want most of those players?

Why would any agent want to be SuperAgent when you are exempt from competeing with the other agents? Sounds lame, really lame.

Anyways, I have emailed them another response and we'll see waht they say this time.

Nice work Roundhouse. And yeah, I agree that it seems like they don't entirely know some concepts that would make the league more fun overall. Having to find a contract for someone that gets bought out is just dumb. Its not our fault that all these terrible deals existed before we took over these teams.

I just made two really, and I mean really, unrealistic trade proposals.
One involves CW. And I know he's going to reject it
The offer was, J-Fly for DJ Augustin and Alexis Ajinca (who?). Yeah, I believe he can accept it
The other was even more absurd. D-Wade for Gerald Wallace and Nazr Mohammed. For this one I have more faith, because the GM of Miami has gotten Kobe and his best forward is... The B Man (Beasley). And I'm ready to replace Mohammed with Radmanovic
However, I think that only New York are in a worse situation than me (not if the GM spends money).
