I just hope I don't lose in the first week.

I don't want to be the first one out either, but I think it would be worse to lose in Week 1.

Yeah.... this is a way fun and way awesome game. Should have some good smack talk as well.

I'm sooo excited for this game and all the trash talking...this first week was kind of a tough one I thought. Many of the favs were playing on the road. Good luck to everyone!!

Anyone use their first week pick on this Thursday night game?

I really wanted to pick the Saints but I decided the game would be too close and I could use the Saints later when they use someone crappy (assuming I win this week...I probably won't).

I was going to...but they lose to the Cardinals too much. I actually picked the Eagles. I don't remember who they are playing and they will probably lose.

I believe they play at Green Bay. I went with Pittsburgh to win at Cleveland.

If the Eagles punt returners weren't complete morons I might not be out int he first week.

Me too. My three teams suck.

At least I'm still alive in the three survivor leagues lol. I'll take solace in that.

I went with Pittsburgh.

The Colts, Pats, and Chargers were all playing decent teams. I was actually going to go with Philly but didn't want to waste (good thing). Dallas and Seattle were also options, but I didn't want to waste them either.

Ultimately I settled for Pittsburgh. I don't think they'll be very good, so I wasn't using up a good team, and they were playing the uber-sucky Browns.

By the way, I know you can only go for a team once. But that's the winner they're referring to correct? So theoretically I could ride out the Browns for weeks right?

Yeah, you can only pick any team once. However, you can pick *against* the Browns every week if you want. Not a bad strategy at all. The Browns are so dog crap, I'll probably be doing much of the same as long as they play a halfway decent team...

How many people just got killed by the Browns upsetting Cincy? I was going to go there but figured that Jacksonville was a good bet to beat Atlanta. It was slightly risky, but it allowed me to go into Week 3 without having used a single one of the big guns.
