T-Wolves in NBA Live (73-9!) 4 Months, 1 Week ago Howls: 5
I hope this was the right forum for this!

So I finally completed my season playing NBA Live 08 for the PS3. I played on the "superstar" difficulty which is the "hardest" difficulty, as the Timberwolves of course.

I wanted this to be a realistic simulation of the current Timberwolves team, but I was able to make a couple deals. I was able to deal Ricky Davis, Gerald Green, and Theo Ratliff ('s expiring contract) to the Clippers for Sam Cassell and Chris Kaman. I'm not so sure how realistic of a deal that was... I don't think the Clippers part with Kaman for a poo-poo platter in real life.

I also got Wally ZZZZ from the Sonics for Telfair and Blount, if I recall. It was something close to that.

Anyway, I went 73-9 and I'm the #1 seed in the postseason, about to start the playoffs lol. Having Big Al and Chris Kaman on the same team was awesome... rebounding was sick. Also, Randy Foye managed to average 34 and 11!

My starting line-up was Foye (PG), Wally Z, Brewer, Jefferson, and Kaman... with Cassell, McCants, and Madsen playing major minutes as well. Madsen averaged something like 10 and 6 lol.

So does this say I'm a better general manager than McHale? Or does it simply show how easy NBA Live is...?

Haha thats awesome. I love hearing about peoples' Timberwolves dynasties on video games.

I currently have 73 games down (55-18) and 9 to go on my 1st season of NBA2K7 (yes, I rarely play, this has been going on for well over a year now). It's strange, because my starting lineup includes no current Timberwolves, even though it is just last years game:

PG - James (New Orleans)
SG - Davis (Miami)
SF - Hassell (New Jersey)
PF - KG (Boston)
C - Eddie G. (Dead)

I have only made a few minor trades....

MadDawg for Etan Thomas...then Etan for Trevor Ariza.
T-Hud for Brent Barry.
McCants for David West.

J. Reed is my 12th man. Awesome.

Haha, thats weird, cuz I made the exact same trade in my PS2 2K8(minus Ricky, cuz I had already changed the rosters in the game according the Minnesota Miami trade)
And yeah, they would never trade Kaman now after his dynamite year this season.

I just started a dynasty on Live 08. It's funny because I tried to duplicate trades and this is what I got.

Traded: Ricky Davis, Mark Blount to Miami for Antione Walker, Michael Doleac, 1st round pick

Tried: Hassell to Dallas for Greg Buckner - Dallas wouldn't do it even with a 2nd round pick included.

Tried: Gerald Green to Houston for Kirk Snyder - Houston wouldn't do it even with a 2nd round pick included.

I always put Biedrins next to Big Al during the first offseason (hopefully we can get him june 1st)...

His D and rebounding makes it impossible for other big men to have an impact
