Apparently you can howl yourself somehow. I'm not sure how that would work as you can't do it when you're logged in. But I did notice in the code for the board that there was a message saying "You've earned a negative Howl for to increase your own Howls."
I thought that was pretty funny.

Huzzah! I have my second howl! Thanks to Ryan (who promised me one and will get my next one as well - today's went to DeROK, as promised by myself) or the other friendly guy who howled me!
Btw.: Ryan deserves plenty of howls just for having Zap Brannigan as his Avatar.

I have now fulfilled my promise towards Ryan and my next howl would normally go to MWithers...but...wouldn't this be wasting my howls, since his howls seem to be dropping every time I look.
Hey MW, are you now into this "winning by loosing" idea? Because if, I would not want to ruin your (negative) series...

Besides: I may be an idiot when it comes to forums, but it took me 30 mins. of intensive thinking to figure out that "a howl" would mean something like a posititve or negative vote by the other users. I guess no newbie on this forum (I am one, I know what I am talking about) would give a rolling donut about those howls, if he event noticed it at all.
But I would prefer having a positive howl-index myself ! |
