And so I've been off and come back to discover theres as much excitment here as there is on the Houston Rockets page. This post is rather hilarious I pathetically read page to page the full 12 pages and laughed out loud - rather monty python esque I must say.

Nothing new happening here I'm still waiting for the Chinese gynastics team to be disqualified and the golds to be given to the USA especially since they disqualified an Irish athlete from the paralympic for not being handicapped enough...

I've left France and at home in Ireland much to my own disappointment I managed to fracture my Talus and Navicular (in short my ankle) the French Docs botched things up and I am waiting inpatiently in Ireland to be fixed up. Basically my Talus was not aligned something obvious the French did not pick up on, so now I wait at home for a surgery and will be in cast for about 12 weeks if I'm lucky.

I'd intended on adding humour to this but its not that funny. I could beef things up and tell ye I had my accident playing sports but unfortunately that is not true. The faithful night involved my friends Jack Daniels and Smirnoff some 2.5 inch heels and about 8 steep steps. Was giddy on Jack D and Smirnoff (it was Yom Kippur)(not a valid excuse) I'd been fasting and praying prior to drinking. I went dancing busted some great moves. Was trying hard to impress some guy whilst leaving the club the left heel on my shoe went I went with it went awkwardly down the steps and next thing I know I'm in L'Hospital.

So the moral of the story is don't drink and wear heels....

Or tell your General Practitioner of a mother that you managed two complex fractures by jumping of a chair whilst changing a light bulb.

On a plus side Liverpool managed to beat Manchester United which for a Liverpool supporter was better than sex, well maybe better than the best sex you've had for 2008 - Lets just say its the most satisfied I've been in a while (excess information but I operate a policy I don't delete after typing maybe I should change that policy).

Welcome to the skimming thread. I really enjoyed reading your post. Thank you for the advice of not drinking in high heels. With the exception of College Wolf that should be advice we can all adhere to.

Your post is thoughtful, informative and personal but don't worry, after some practice you will be able to post vague, insulting and irreverent contributions.

The main thing that I understand from it is that I should be drinking lighter fluid in high heels while having sex and watching Liverpool play soccer.

I'll do that for their next game.

I'd be happy to FEDEX you a pair of heels as for the lighter fluid I recommend Zippo Regular (pre 2006) although Zippo improved does have more of an umph but its a bit waxy and slightly more expensive, then again Ronsonol has higher carbon alcohols in it giving a better chick and comes in a plastic bottle. If your going to drink it and wear heels better do it from the plastic bottle I say!

He scared Bonk. Couldn't sleep.

I just went into the bathroom and there were a bunch of mice wearing french maid's outfits swimming around in my bathtub filled with lighter fluid. I got so freaked out that I ran out of the room and then caught my high heels on my wolf skin rug. I tripped really bad and ended up fracturing my talus and navicular too! How embarrassing.

I'm just going to simplify things by telling my General Practitioner of a mother that I was dancing while drunk.
