Man, FX has a lot of good movies on all the time. Love DVR. I watched The Insider again. I hadn't seen it for years. It's such a great movie. Gripping and poignant. Russell Crowe and Al Pacino are amazing in it. I'd say it's one of Crowe's best movies. Possibly the best, but Gladiator is right up there as well.

This is a top movie, definitely worth watching if you have the chance.

You've clearly not seen 'Romper Stomper' then?

It's where things all began for old Rusty...

(and it's quite possible that only AusWolf and TWIS have any idea what I'm talking about here...)

I've heard of it, but never seen it. Is it really that good?

No – its more of an Aussie cult classic.

Amusing to see the origins of an oscar winner though…

I watched We Own The Night. It was solid, but not great. There was a point where it could have went to becoming a really good movie, but it just kinda toed the line and then went back to the range of good/solid/enjoyable.

I bought that movie when it came out having never heard of it or seen the previews mainly because Marky Marky was in it.All I have to say is
Meh.

Whats with the ads lately on this site? You have to toe the line in order to not have them block the things you want to do.

I thought it was decent. Not great, but worth my time. Glad I didn't buy it though.

Yeah, those ads are more intrusive, but the campaign pays more. Soooo... you'll just have to live with it for a little while, it won't be forever.

I've seen Romper Stomper, It's kind of a chick flick, starring Drew Barrymore as a girl - "Romper" - who has a severe weight problem and knocks over everything in sight - "Stomper"- she has a crush on this guy (Crowe) at her office who only sees her as a friend, but in the end the guy realizes Barrymore has "inner beauty" and Crowe ditches his supermodel girlfriend for Barrymore and they end up happily ever after.

In reality, Romper Stomper is a very good, very violent movie about Crowe as a racist skinhead. Very bare-bones filmaking, but very well done as well

I can't decide if Shutter Island is worth seeing in the theatres or not? Anyone here seen it?

I really DO want to see The Crazies though. That looks intense.

Anyone seen The Wolfman? It looks retarded if you ask me...

The Crazies looks really good so i might have to do the 2 for 1 deal at the theatre this weekend
