The Wolves Future Draft Picks: Breakdown 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago Howls: 3
I'm not sure if this has been posted yet but I came across a very nice page on the wolves website that lays out our future draft picks.

www.nba.com/timberwolves/news/future_dra...reakdown_080709.html

This really helps clarify things - plus it's nice to see all those assets.

Glad this helped you out, T-Zilla ... I was confused myself on some of the protections so I had our ops guys take me through it. When compared to the team's situation in 2006 or even last year, it does make it pretty clear that the Wolves are in a solid spot heading into the future.

The list fails to include the second-round pick Houston owes us in 2010.

2009 Draft picks = Trade Bait

"Although the Timberwolves have been accumulating first-round draft picks via trades and could end up with four for next year's draft, the team's plans are to use most of them to trade for players rather than select entry-level players."
