@ CW: You do luckily have the best collection of big men, but that's because somehow Dwight dropped down to the 21st pick, when he is low Round 1-high Round 2 quality. Horford is a solid C as well, but I can't say the same to Scola and Shaq. Scola's value is only going to go down now that Artest is there, meaning McGrady, Artest, and Yao will all be on the floor at the same time
(Both McGrady/Artest are significantly big for their position, meaning bye bye Scola boards). Shaq is primed to go down, I honestly can't believe him playing more than 50-60 games this season. As far as locking up rebounds, I'm not so sure. You have 1 of the top 15 rebounders
(Based on last season's stats of course), even though he was the leader. I'll get to me below.
PG: Andre Miller
SG: Mike Bibby
G: Kirk Hinrich
SF: LeBron James
PF: Gerald Wallace
F: David Lee
C: Tim Duncan
C: Carlos Boozer
Util: Zach Randolph
Util: Ricky Davis
Bench: Mike Conley
Bench: Marc Gasol
Bench: Boris Diaw
I consider this one of my worst drafts of this season, being my last draft. I've had consistently low picks (11th pick twice), so I was coming from a completely different angle this time, meaning different strategy. I think I have a solid battle for rebounds, as I have 3 of the top 15 rebounders, and that doesn't include David Lee who's going to be the starting Knicks center. I truly believe he will get at least 10 boards a game. I have a good battle for the assist winner as well, with Andre Miller who'll be passing to the likes of Brand instead of Reggie Evans this year. Hinrich was a colossal flop last year, not to mention he has Rose sharing the guard minutes with. However, I think after last season
(Where we averaged over 6 dimes a game), he can only go up in my opinion. Bibby went on a tear once he went to ATL, averaging 6.5 assists and over 1 steal a game. Not much you can say about LBJ, last year averaging 30/7/7. Though I hardly have anyone that can block on my team
(Aside from LBJ and TD), all my guys can shoot decent %'s both FG and FT. Main thing is, my big men all shoot good %'s, giving me a good shot at winning those cats. As far as steals go, I think I'm definitely ahead of the pack in that department. With Crash and LBJ putting in nearly 2 steals a game and the support of my guards all averaging over 1 steal a game
(Even all my big men average close to a steal a game, something that not all PF's/C's can do), I'm looking pretty good.
My bench, not much to say about it. Diesel is going down in Phoenix for sure, and when that happens, Diaw's value is gonna skyrocket. The only other guys fighting for minutes at BOTH the 4 and 5 is Brian Skinner and Robin Lopez. Come on now. Tricky Ricky is close to my bench too, but he's a great glue guy who's value will only improve in Clipper Land with BD feeding him for open shots. He's also gonna share the ball handling duties, providing decent assist value, on top of his 3, rebounds, and steal potential. Conley is gonna be given the reigns in Memphis, though he does have competition in Lowry, but I'm expecting a breakout year for him. Gasol is also a pure prospect, but he's expected to start for Memphis as far as I know, but obviously Darko "The Human Victory Cigar" will be trying to take those minutes, and then there's that Iranian guy too, but Marc is just a bigger, offensively challenged version of Pau, so I expect him to be good on the offensive put-backs.
Shall be a good year
