McCants is a great 6th man, provides a great offensive boost, and without him what swagger/confidence, how many tattoos would the wolves have.... cmon, at least try to show him some love this post...

I have a pretty good feeling that if I met Rashad McCants on the street that he'd be a complete jerk to me. I still want him to do well because what's good for McCants is good for the Wolves, but he's done next to nothing to endear himself to the fans of this team.

My list of things I care about in regard to the wolves:
1. Players getting better
2. Fun to watch
3. Winning
4. Good guys
5. Players having the class not to sulk in the corner when they aren't being rotated in exactly how they want to be or blathering about how they've earned a starting spot they haven't earned.
...
48,979,833. How many tattos they have
...
987,678,747,748. The amount of swagger they have
Shaddy has all the ability in the world to be a part of the top 5 things I care about on this team. I'll let the by-gones be by-gones until he pulls a stunt.

I'm with DeROK on this one. Focus on what he does on the court. People with tats aren't different just because they have tats. Maybe McCants is a jerk, but so were Wally Szczerbiak and Latrell Sprewell. If he improves his D, becomes more of a facilitator on offense, and makes more plays with the game on the line, I'm going to cheer for him just as much as I would if someone else made those plays. He doesn't get arrested, doesn't get T'ed up (despite his consistent scowl, he had 3 T's all of last year, as many as Marko and Big Al and fewer than Bassy, who missed 15-plus games), and doesn't play dirty like Raja Bell and Bruce Bowen. As for being an enjoyable player, when he's not hogging the ball or taking dumb shots, I like McCants' game (smooth J, a variety of moves, can dunk in traffic).

If I met you on the street I would be a complete jerk to you. It's got nothing to do with McCants.

When I inferring in my list that he has a bad attitude, I don't care about him whining to the refs (that much). My issue is him saying over and over how he should be starting. He has no ground to stand on what-so-ever in that regard. If he went out and played his balls off every minute of every game he WOULD be the starter. This was bottom 5 team for crying out loud.
