Game Thread: Wolves vs Portland Blazers (11/15/08) 3 years, 2 months ago #24035

Season Record: 1-6

We are a team in complete disarray. There is no excuse for losing a 10 point lead with 4 minutes left when the other team is missing three starters. I don't see how we can possibly win this game (or many others for that matter.)

PREDICTION:

Wolves 86 - Portland 98
Question: "Why do you shoot so many Threes?"

Antoine Walker: "Because there are no Fours."

i snucked out of bed so dont tell anyone dat i am bloggin.

i think we can get more baskets than this other team if dey are all injuryed. if dey arent then i dont like our chances.

Wolves 97
Blazers 95

Roy: 28 points (parker esque)
Oden: 10 points terrible shooting night and coaches dont want to push the injury 4-12 from the field

Wittman hopefully listens to me and mccants plays only 10 minutes
Foye: Plays much like GS game decent from the field 2-3 really nice plays and better defensive effort.
Jefferson: starts out like timid kittycat against oden then morphs into a lion in the second half and ends with 24 points.
Miller: Hits 3 threes
Love: Good defense on Lamarcus 14 points and 9 rebounds
Brewer: 3 easy layins, great defense, 10 points on 5-9 shooting

I admire you PP for taking a different stance than your dad. It shows maturity and independance. But actually CW posts for you any way so in reality he is voting both ways successfully covering his ass.

The Timberwolves are a bomb waiting to go off. Wittman has desperately pushed them to the brink of failure but he will not succeed this night. The players will shove a gateraid bucket over his head and call their own plays and make their own substitutions. It's going to be a great game to watch!

Timberwolves 108
Trailblazers 100

Hahaha I have no idea what you are talking about Mmaland...

The little dude is a solid typist already, you should see him in action!

I'm going to go Maddogesque with my score prediction

Wolves 29
Blazers 28

A brawl starts in the 1st quarter when McCants punches Big Al, who thinks it was Oden. Everyone is kicked out of the game except Maddog and Raef Lafrentz, who then play 1-on-1 for the rest of the game.
Chuck Norris once challenged Lance Armstrong in a \"Who has more testicles?\" contest.

Chuck Norris won by 5.

If that happened (50-50 chance btw), I don't know whether I would laugh or cry. I'd probably be doing a little of both at the same time I would guess...

lmfao!

between the waffles post, which i admit to wanting some of myself....

n roundhouse i believe it mccants will be like 'take that ya big ogre then big al will deck the spoiled brat back n accidently smack a blazer instead n it will go down hill from there'

ya'll have added some much needed humor into this dull timberwolves season howl for ya

I finished up at work early the other day, so I watched the boxscore of the GS game.

I wish I hadn't

Oh dear.

But there is a bright side - Wittman might get the shove earlier than we hoped.
