No one wants to recap this game I guess so I'll put in my 2 sense.

Al is king. Everyone else on the team has become afraid to shoot the ball so he added an outside shot to his bag of tricks. He hits most of them as well! I still can't see why MM does not shoot more. Ryan Gomes played like a star. I do not know why he is so streaky? Randy Foye played a magnificant game. Is this luck or is he capable of doing this on a regular basis? Never mind, I know your answer. Everyone is down on Craig Smith but when he is in the game the ball goes in the bucket. Thats all I know. Corey Brewer can hit shots if he is relaxed. Kevin Love continues to play hard nosed basketball but has lost all confidence in scoring. Rodnet Carney looked like Michael Jordan at the end. He looks like Gerald Green when it counts.

Good basketball coupled with the fact that Detroit could not find the bucket led to a very fun game to watch. I did have to walk around the block in the fourth quarter though. I couldn't watch.

This was just amazing. It was strange, cuz typically if I am at home watching the Wolves by myself and we are killing the other team I am yelling a lot, and whatnot, but last night it was more like just sitting there confused in stunned silence. Seriously, Randy Foye looked GREAT. He didn't force anything, he was looking to set other guys up, and he was hitting the jumpers that he did take in the flow of the offense. WOW. I gotta give mad props for Foye. I'm surprised MWithers isn't back on this site gloating. Gomes was rock solid and Craig Smith continues to be a surprisingly dynamic offensive player lately. But honestly, Foye is the main reason we killed Detroit. Basically everyone played well. What a great game. Thank you Wittman for putting Foye in a SG to start the 2nd quarter & keeping a tight rotation instead of putting Carney in. I still think Collins should never play, but thats negative and I'll save that for another thread.

Maybe it will help DimWittman being forced to tighten the rotation since McCants is out? Seriously here... we're better off with like 9 guys playing consistent minutes. At least that way they can get comfortable in their role and know what to expect.

Never play Carney or Collins, and trade McCants for something. These moves alone would do wonders for this team.

Question: "Why do you shoot so many Threes?"

Antoine Walker: "Because there are no Fours."

What is the logic behind playing Collins at the start of the 1st and 3rd quarters for a little bit and then no more. Isn't the idea of having a 7 foot defensive player to play him situationally? It's not a Wittman thing cause thats what they used to do with Erv as well. Makes no sense to me.

I think it's a "culture of losing" thing...

I thought this same thing. I didnt even notice the 9 man rotation until the ambiguosly white duo checked in with 2 minutes to go. I laughed.

As a fan you have to love this game. Capped a great weekend. As good as Foye looked, I think the real test will be what happens on Wednesday versus Phoenix. If Foye follows it up with another nice game, he just may be in the clear. Hopefully Wednesday isnt a Foye 6 and 3 buzzkill.

And I still cant for the life of me figure out why Miller doesnt shoot. It almost makes me angry at this point.

You mean the Holy Trinity? Maddog, The Custodian, and Love? I swear, they really look holy when the big lights glisten off their pasty white skin!

Like I've always said... Foye's time will come.
