Noah: 10 boards, 7 blocks, 14 points. No matter what you haters say this kid is going to be a very decent middle man in this league. If Kendrick Perkins is a starting center on a championship caliber team then Noah is definitely of value. I continue to be an advocate for him and I think he's exactly what we need. McCants, HalfBakedKGFan, Smith, Miller, Bonk - I'd trade a combo of any of that for the man.

Good game by Al on offense. He's beginning to see out of double teams more often. If he throws his hands up in the air again after he passes out of a double team I'm going to scream. He's so proud of himself for actually passing the ball that he can't even remember to get in position for an offensive rebound...stupid.

Additionally, Noah should never score over 10 pts a game, at least not yet. At one point he faced Al up with an Amar'e first step and left Al at the free throw line. AL, there are two sides to the court. Play them both please.

Love looked great. Foye had a bad game - suck it up. Miller, not worth mentioning...

I take that back. Bonk is worth more than Noah. I'd need Deng as well.

In my comment that was deleted due to the server changeover, I mentioned Noah and that he'd be great next to Big Al. Hopefully the Noah haters will ease up a little. I'd love him as our center. McCants, Rhino, draft picks, expiring contracts... give them whatever they want (within reason.)

Derrick Rose is just a stud. He's the ROY fo sho.

On another note, how about Nocioni. What a little ugly bitch. He is almost as much of a bitch as Andrew Bitch-Gut. That said, Id love him on our team if he didnt have 4 more years!

Yeah... I also like what he brings to the table. He's the type of player you HATE to see your team play against, but almost always would appreciate having him on your squad. His contract is brutal though. I'll definitely pass on that.

Not to mention his attitude seems atrocious. Always seems to be yelling, complaining, and fighting with his teammates. Id rather have the calm, cool, collected Nocioni lite in Brian Cardinal.

It's hard to know though about his attitude, since we don't see him every game. I've usually only read good things about him being a great competitor. Anyways, if I had the choice between him and Cardinal, I'd rather have neither...

Thanks Daddy, for holding out on trading me unless Deng was involved.

The game last night (and Friday too) was a lot of fun. Isn't it amazing what a difference a month has made?! We went from looking like a bunch of lost, terrible, unconfident, uninspired individuals to a confident, gritty, inspired, and skilled TEAM. It's quite mind blowing. You gotta give McHale some props. You must.

I have to say it...McHale outcoached Vinny, and that probably won us the game. We had strong plays in the clutch, they did not. We looked like we knew what we were doing and what our pecking order was in the clutch, they did not. We had a good defensive plan and effective lineup in during the clutch, and they did not. It's true.

Big Al was awesome. And you know what? So was K. Love. He really was. Most of his points came in the clutch, and he really does seem to get his hands on as many offensive boards as anyone. Also, his outlet to Carney was finally worth the hype. That was impressive.

Carney was sweet. When his shot is on, he's a bonafide player. Telfair's 1st quarter scoring and overall control of the game, not to mention his increasingly effective D on Rose as the game went on were imperative to our success.

Even though Foye could not hit a shot, he played within himself (minus the turnovers), and went to his pet move and (no, no, no, no, YES!) made it when it counted.

Miller continues to baffle me. But this a a positivity thread from yours truly so I'll move on. And yes, that is why there is no mention of Gomes or Rhino either.

Fun win, Great win Friday, best record in the NBA in 2009, who would have thought it?! Contrary to what I would have done a month ago, I am not making any plans this evening so I can sit at home and watch the Wolves play a crappy road team. You know why? Because we are suddenly very fun to watch again! Thank you Lord! 2009 has been great to us. It is once again a LOT of fun to be a fan.

PS - Noah rules, Vinnys hair is a MANE, Nocioni is a b!tch, Gordon is sooo ripped, Grey is huge, Deng is dark dark, Rose is fast, and Hinrich needs to get traded ASAP. BonK out.

Well now... we can nitpick box scores if you want? He's had some very solid games this year.

My problem is that everyone hates Noah in Chicago from the coach the his team mates to the fans and even the announcers. Also his box score from Fridays game is not nit picking. Read it again. He put up MicCantesc numbers.

At this point in our building process I don't believe we are anywhere near "desperate". In fact one could argue we are right where we want to be. Mccants helps us a lot by sitting on the bench. It motivates the rest of the players to play harder to prevent him from entering the game.

Hahahaha touche!

I would like to add, maybe playing with Brewer here would change Noah's attitude? Probably not, but you never know. Plus, playing next to a stud like Al couldn't hurt. I'd take a chance for minimal assets, if possible.

Although an "ugly win" isn't as asthetically pleasing as a "good looking" win, in many ways it is more impressive to me. I think this shows a real sign that progress has been made. This team would NOT have won this game a month & half ago. Instead of finding a way to lose a game like this, we are now finding a way to win. Al had an average game, and Gomes had an above average game, but literally everyone else had a below average game. And we still won. 7 of our 9 active players with below average games, on the road, and we still win. This pleases me. It shows that mentally & confidence-wise, we have made improvements. And our defensive effort and grit has increased a ton lately. I won't scoff at an ugly win for these guys, especially considering where they were a month ago.

...still baffled by Miller.

Ridnour is horrible. WHY does he start at all, much less EVERY single game this year?...The Bucks may be the most boring team in the league to watch...I do think Scott Skiles is a good coach though...The Target Center atmosphere seems > than the Bradley Center atmosphere. But maybe that's just because it was an off night for the Bucks...Joe Alexander will probably be a huge bust...Richard Jefferson is not an impact player.

I love how Jim Pete was saying throughout the game that a team doesn't have a negative effect right after it loses its star player...only to pull a complete 180 toward the end of the game and talk about how there is definitely a negative effect right after a team loses its star player. You can't make this stuff up.
