This season is going really south, really fast. I'd set the over/under at about what we finished last year, so 22.5 games. The last 24 games could be pretty brutal. I wouldn't expect too many wins.

Watching Yao battle for position with Cardinal and the Rhino in the fourth quarter... it looked like Rocky fighting the big Russian guy. (Yao also has the same facial expressions as the Russian fighter. I wish I'd had a split screen to watch both at the same time.)

We are awful. We can't guard any big men. Heck, we can't guard anyone. It's not even fair to ask Love to play center. Let alone against guys like YAO and Scola. What a blow to the poor kid. To be honest, I was bored watching this game, as well as many others this year. That's not good, especially since I'm a lifetime Wolves fan. I can only imagine the collective apathy that must be building towards the Wolves.

Here's all the *insight* I even feel like offering:

Go figure, [Craig Smith] hit buckets in garbage time, [Mark Madsen] only played [1] minute?!?!, while [Jason Collins] played [17] minutes?!?!, why didn't [Love] play in the [4th Quarter]? [All our Bigs] looked undersized down low; [No one] could guard anybody or especially [YAO], [Kevin Ollie] looked completely lost out there, [Kevin Love] completely sucked this game, and [Jason Collins] is completely worthless. [Brian Cardinal] has been known to play well but had a horrible game. [Kevin Love] couldn't hit the broad side of the barn tonight. He jacked up [12] shots while laying [8] bricks. [Mike Miller] gets the "Mike Miller Award" for taking only [5] shots in [32] minutes. Where was [Sheldon Williams] tonight?

Wolves lose big again.

Brian Cardinal had a 19 minute Voskuhl.

Is this season still going? wow, I kind of forgot we had a team. I flipped through the channels and caught a Von Wafer turnover and then thought to myself, "that turnover could be a six point swing, the difference in a 20 point loss and a 14 point loss.

It's not being pessimistic, simply a realist. This team doesn't have too bright of an outlook as it stands. Love and Jefferson will NEVER lock down the paint against any team. Imagine a game in which the objective was to stop the other team from scoring five times in a row. You could pick any two big men combination from any team and you'd go against a random set of another two big men. In what situation would you ever pick Love and Al? NEVER. Since that is what championship teams do, let's start rebuilding by trading one of them for a defensive, LONG center.

Actually Love played most of his minutes at PF last night with Collins at center. You'd think Scola would be one of the best matchups in the league for him, but Scola took him to school.

As Daddy said, AL and Love will never work together if we want any chance of winning anything besides the lottery.
