Dallas needs this game really bad. They won't be messing around.

I'm picking us to win, it's typical of us winning pointless games. Maybe Miller will go for 30 points.

Wolves 103 - Mavs 98

I really want the Mavs to miss the postseason (altough Phoenix is doing everything not to catch up) so I pick us to win.

Vegas has Mavs by 7. Really? I'd put some bucks on the road team for sure.

Cuban 111

What a boorriiingg game. I got to see Dirk and Kidd for a bit, but other than that there wasn't much going on. Our team mailed it in and my brother and I left with about 6 minutes left when we were down by 22 or so.

I have tickets to Denver (never seen Billups in person before) and Phoenix left, I hope our guys try harder next time.

That as definitely the least I've paid attention to any game that I've actually been at all season long. The reason is because Bonk and I moved down to "our seats" behind the Mavs bench... and it was amazing. Mark Cuban was sitting directly behind the bench, probably 10 feet or so away from us. There's no way we could concentrate on the game with Cuban and everything he was doing. I actually talked to him a little bit during a timeout in the second quarter, which was cool.

I think he gets a bad rap from people, as he seems like a really sweet dude and was laughing and joking with everyone (it probably helps when they were up by 15+ all game long.) I mean, how cool is a billionaire that goes to every game and was wearing a t-shirt, jeans, and some dirty white running shoes? People that say he is too hyper/intense/bothersome; but what I came away with was just that he has an intense passion for his team and the game. He was standing up A LOT, and cheering and or yelling encouragement almost every possession, even when they were kicking our asses. You could tell that he truly cared. Who wouldn't want an owner like that?

Also, he was on his phone texting/twittering almost every single chance he got. It was pretty funny and interesting to see. I know he's a techie and all, but I had no idea that he would be on his phone THAT MUCH. If he wasn't cheering/encouraging/commenting or standing up watching plays, then he was on his phone. Cool dude in my opinion.

I liked Telfair's driving and penetration, as well as his nifty passes. From the little I saw of the game, I thought he played well and just brings another gear that no other PG's on our team are capable of providing.

Love had himself a nice game.

I really hate Miller.

Poor Gomes had to guard Dirk again. What a mismatch. And it's not even Gomes' fault. That's on the front office and the terrible way they composed this roster. If the Mavs had wanted to I bet Dirk could have dropped 50. We literally have NO ONE on our roster that can adequately guard him.

I didn't even realize that the Mavs had Matt Carroll until he went in with like 5 minutes left and I could see the name on his jersey. Crazy. Why doesn't he play more?

Why did Ollie play, let alone start? Why did we sign him? It makes no sense.

What was Vegas thinking?!?! Mavs by only 7? Egads. I would have bet them to cover at least 15.

SILENT ABABU was sitting in courtside seats and mucking it up for like the last six minutes of the game. That was funny to observe.

Oh, at least we didn't blow a 29 point lead this game. Har har.

Basically CWolf nailed it. Our game experience last night was awesome, and that is primarily due to Mark Cuban. I think I watched him watch the game more than I watched the game. His lack of flash/sharpness in his attire is kind of cool when you think about it. I mean, the man is worth billions, yet he dresses average at best. His intensity toward the game really impressed me. It would be hard to not be properly engaged or motivated as a player with Cubes & Darrell Armstrong standing behind you yelling and 100% into the game the whole time. All of the players seem to enjoy Cuban. Cuban is a people's champion. During the breaks he's either hammering away on his phone or looking around & interacting with people. He seems like the kind of guy who is always engaged and excited and into whatever he is doing at the time. I bet he sleeps like 5 hours a night.

Telfair & Love looked good, Jason Terry riding the excercise bike right next to us was sweet, Towel Girl freaking out on CW & I for trying to take Gatorade towels from the Dallas bench was interesting, SILENT ABABU sitting courtside in the 4th was funny, Meathead Mike going 0 for 2 on his full throttle t-shirt tosses to the upper deck while exposing his midriff proved me right, and the Wolves losing by 20 was completely unsurprising.
