This was inevitable. Now that one can hope the McHale era is over, fans can be reasonably assured his influence is gone from the front office. Just as I have always said, the man ran this organization since roughly 1995. He just doesn't all of a sudden stop having influence simply because he's coaching the team. It was time to go.
With MOST of the influence gone from this organization that plagued it for far too long, The Daddy can once again feel a bit of optimism that the Wolves can at least rise from obscurity to become a relevent, competent organization. With Glen at the helm, I doubt we win a championship within the next two decades (I also doubt he'll live/own the team that long). But WITHOUT McHale anywhere near the helm, I doubt we toil in complete obscurity much longer.
I'm aleady salivating at the coaching possibilities (Not Lambeer

). Who would quench our thirst for competency? Van Gundy obviously...Mitchell? I'm hesitant for a guy who players voted as the least like coach. Whatever the case may be, let's get it. The Daddy is officially thirsty for a team to root for. I'm not going to shed my Depressing Daddy routine yet, but I'm getting closer!
As my Dos Equis buddy tells me, "Stay Thirsty My Friends!"
