Question: "Why do you shoot so many Threes?"

Antoine Walker: "Because there are no Fours."

I read your article and I couldn't agree more. Rubio's situation will sort itself out, but how will this team cope in the coming year...?

Ellington has to be licking his chops. He may get a lot of shots. More so than he would on any other team.

CW,

When was it when you became patient, thoughtful, insightful and realistic. Was it when you became a dad? Are you drinking less? What has happened to you?

Thanks man.

And yeah, Ellington is REALLY going to have a chance to shine. MN is the perfect opportunity for him.

Not sure when it happened, but yeah, I think CW Jr. was a big part of it. So that's cool, because I certainly have no complaints.

As for drinking less, yes. Totally. I never really drink socially even (no reason, just don't do it.) I don't really have much time to go out for happy hour or to party (really busy these days), so I don't drink then. I'd estimate I drink with buddies maybe a couple times a month or so, if that. In that regards its more fun and "worth it" since I don't do it much. And I'm definitely not out of control like the old days, lol.

One good "side affect" of not drinking is that I've lost like 80 pounds since college. I only weigh 165 now (but can still bench press 300 wooohoo!)

Completely reasonable piece, CW.

It's tantalising having someone with that much potential so close to being a Timberwolf and the frustration here and on CH is often palpable. And it is completely understandable.

I can say that in the middle of a major sporting season here, in which my team are defending champions no less (but screwing it up), that I am obsessed with this Rubio thing. Thank goodness I am on leave or else I'd have been sacked!

But the realisation for us is here. Everything points in one direction. The Target Centre.

Thanks Aus.

I just want RUBIO to play in the NBA for the Wolves sooooooooooo bad. There is nothing I can do about it though, but wait. No use fretting over every single (mis)quote.

Good work, CW. Sometimes a person just needs to cut through the BS. I'm excited because Rubio's style of play is exciting to watch and because more fans are interested, which means there might be some noise at Target Center next year (even if it's spread between some blowouts).
