Season Record: 1-4

I really don't know if we will win or not. There might be a letdown from the Boston game. I have a feeling a lot of people will predict we win this game though.

I'm very excited to see Flynn vs. Jennings.

PREDICTION:

Wolves 97 - Bucks 93

Jennings outscores Flynn by 10 points (while taking 10+ more shots than Jonny). It ends up being a good thing though.

I think Brewer's frustration from last night(along with the whole teams, for that matter) will manifest into a nice game for him.
I also think there will be more fast breaks than usual, and not a lot of defense...

Wolves 112
Bucks 103

I think this is a very important game for the psyche of the Timberwolves. They’ve been playing with a high level of intensity in all of their games so far and only have one win to show for it. After going toe to toe with the best team in the league. a loss to the lowly Bucks would be pretty disheartening.

I don’t see the Wolves losing this one though. Brandon Jennings has been playing out of his mind so far. With his style of play, he doesn’t strike me as a player who's going to be very consistent. I think he’s due for a bad game. Michael Redd is out with an injury and Andrew Bogut is decent, but I would think Al should still be able to own him. The Bucks just don’t have a lot of scoring on the floor.

What I’ll be most interested in is the play of Pecherov. In his first few games I saw very little intensity out of him. In Wednesday’s game he totally caught me off guard with his fist pumps and screams. I’m not expecting him to drop 23 or anything. I just want to see him play with the same fire.

Prediction:
Wolves 93 – Bucks 85

Alrighty here,

So I'm fairly delirious after pulling the 3rd shift at a juvenile detention center, but I gotta throw my preview out on this game. I absolutely loved the preseason game in Mankato vs the Bucks and I wish I had the time to go to this game being that its not on TV. But it is what it is. I'm wondering why 45 or FSN would not pick this game up? As far as I'm concerned, this is our rival. Da Bucks! Anywayz.

Depth Chart:

PG: Brandon Jennings, Luke Ridnour, Roko Ukic
SG: Charlie Bell, Jodie Meeks
SF: Carlos Delfino, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute
PF: Hakim Warrik, Ersan Ilyasova, Kurt Thomas
C: Andrew Bogut, Dan Gadzuric

Injured: Michael Redd, Joe Alexander
Inactive: Francisco Elson (Hasn't played yet this season primarily because of the pickup of Hakim Warrik and Ersan Ilyasova"

X Factor: Flynn vs Jennings, this is where its at for me!! Its killing me that I won't be able to watch the stellar (and so far ROY leader) Jennings try to hoop it up against Flynn. Jennings is leading the Bucks in points, assists, and mins avging: 22 ppg, 5 apg, 4 rpg, and 2 spg. Kid is ballin' for real. I'm actually very surprised that the rookie with a lot of questions coming in to this league is bread and butter with Skiles in Milwaukee. Ridnour (a great team guy btw) and Ukic are unimportant here, but I'm looking for Sessions to be fired up and ready to put on a show at the Target Center tonight. Obviously, coming from the team who wouldn't pony up the $$ after a great season, he's looking for a little revenge. Advantage: Minny

SG: So, Redd injured again hurts me, dude deserves to be injury free this year and I hope he has a quick return. Bell hasn't quite put it together yet this season and with the defense of Brewer, I don't think tonight will be the time. Meeks has been a non factor thus far as well. Advantage: Minny

SF: After serving his one game suspension, Delfino has avg a respectable 7 pts, 5 rbds, and 3assts but hasn't quite brought the level of play the Bucks want yet. MaM is a major rotation player for the Bucks: think a much smarter Brewer here. His stat line isn't worth mentioning, but this dude does so many other good things, he will lock down Gomes tonight or whoever Skiles needs to shut down. Advantage for me: Bucks

PF: All I gotta say is let Stewie go to work tonight. I have total faith in his game, early or not in the season. With that being said, Warrik is a tough cover, avging 14ppg and 6rpg. I think his rebounding has a way to go yet, but I'm not worried after seing Pech drop it like its hot on KG. Look for a good game from Ilyasova, dude will look hilarious in his head gear, but I have a feeling he will be ready tonight for a solid contribution off the bench. Thomas: who cares. Advantage: Minny baby!

C: This is a another key matchup tonight. Bogut has all the potential in the world, but how long can we keep saying this for the number one pick? Currently avging 10ppg and 9rpg, I can honestly say that I don't really expect that to improve much. I think Jefferson is clearly showing he is the better player and should have no problem tonight. I know everyone in Milwaukee hates em, but I love me some Gadz, look for an either horrible game or raw emotion if he gets a couple open dunks. Advantage: Minny

Gotta go with the rest of the group here in predicting a win for the Wolves tonight. Lets make a statement Twolves, it will not be an easy win when teams come knocking at our door. Keep up the hard work because your true fans are noticing YOU.

Prediction: Wolves 97 Bucks 90

Corey doesn't have a 20 point game under his belt.

Brandon Jennings is going to light up Flynn, whose defense has been very unimpressive so far. Then Sessions will play the rest of the game and stick it to his old team.

Bucks 93
Wolves 99

Wow, every single person picked the Wolves to win. I'm joining them.

Line is Minnesota by 1.5 or 2.5, depending on where you look.

Border Battle!
West Side - 104
East Side - 99

I'm excited to be going to this game in person tonight - other than the injured Blake G, Jennings is the rookie I was most interested in seeing up close. I hope he's as quick as I expect him to be.

Wow. Are we really THIS bad?

Looking at the boxscore, it looks like all our starters had pretty bad games, except Flynn's was maybe decent.

Looks like Hollins had ok stats in 20 minutes off the bench.

Sessions only played 15 minutes? WHY? Can anyone posit any reasons as to why?

How did we win that first game of the year again... ?

TwolvesBlog predicting FAIL! I haven't seen anything but the box score but it is hard to believe.

Looks like Flynn was the only guy who showed up tonight.

The Wolves were up 40-33 in what must have been an excruciatingly painful first half of basketball to view as a fan. Then what the heck happened in the third quarter? Outscored 31-12! That’s mind numbingly horrible.

Praise the Lord for Jonny Flynn. Pecherov was a no show (big surprise). Al was 3-12 (pathetic). The Wolves had 21 turnovers and 11 assists (seriously?). How could they play this bad after playing so well Wednesday?

I didn’t watch the game, but it seems like this is the first game in which the Wolves haven’t given full effort. Not a good sign. I’m very disappointed.
