Alright, some of you might not care but I do because he is property of the Twolves.

So, 3 games into it, here are Rubio's stats.

PPG: 6.3
RPG: 3.7
APG: 6.3
SPG: 1.7
2P%: 42.9%
3P%: 16.7%
FT%: 100%

Points aren't too impressive but wow...6.3 apg in euroleague..that's impressive because they don't count apg as much as in the NBA.

About Rubio though...I think no matter what..we should have him in a Wolves uniform. I think no matter what Flynn does, the draw of RICKY RUBIO will be bigger because fans just love the "what if."
What if he is like this and like that..what if he get this and that or what if he becomes this and that...fans just love the word POTENTIAL!

Rubio is overated IMO
We should trade him for a pick in the next draft

Nice, thanks for doing this! I'm sure lots of people will love to follow Rubio's stats.

Also, how many minutes per game is he playing there?

And yes, those assist numbers are huge! In Euroleague, it's only an assist if the player scores almost immediately after getting the pass. They don't count assists anything like how the NBA does.
Question: "Why do you shoot so many Threes?"

Antoine Walker: "Because there are no Fours."

Totally agree. He's got some kind of star power. Ticket sales, jersey sales, TV viewership; those would all go up if he were a wolf.

Great topic. Count me as one of those interested in tracking his performance this season.

What is the hurry? His value won't peak until the draft after this one when he can come over free and clear. This fact is ideal in that he or his value can likely become the 1st rounder we are giving to the filthy Clippers.

Rubio Stats:

However, Pekovic stats are more impressive, and show significant improvement to last year:

BTW, I already have two Euroleague games on my DVR from this season. NBA TV airs them occasionally and it is always a game featuring Rubio.

After Pekiovic has his first good game on TNT I can't wait to see McHale's smugness.

On a lighter note...this from today's David Thorpe chat:

Mike (springfield, ma)

Rubio still over Jennings?

It's hard to say that now, of course. But Rubio is playing extremely well in Spain, other than his shooting. His team is undefeated in the Euroleague, and one game out of first place in the ACB. He's the youngest starting pg by far. How's this for a pg line-no points, 10 assists, 6 steals, and the top 6 players on their team besides him scored in double figures and hit 50% of their shots, or better.

Sounds good to me!!
(BTW,this isn't intended to be anything other than a bit of good news on the Rubio front...)

Pete Mikael Blog on Hoops hype:
I had never traveled with a rock star until now. To me, Ricky’s nickname is Rock Star. When I got drafted to New York, I played with Latrell Sprewell and I thought that was something. Everybody wanted a piece of Spree, everybody wanted an autograph, but there’s no comparison on the attention Ricky commands.

He plays with Ricky. Go read the whole thing it is very interesting. As the few weeks of the season pass I become more convinced this team needs to have Ricky in a Wolves roster in two years.

Yep, I follow Pete's blog on HH, good stuff!

I agree with ya, Ricky must be in a Wolves jersey in two years.
