Hi, this is just some fresh info coming right from barcelona, just for your knowledge.....

1st. 3 point lane

In europre the 3pt range lane is 2ft and 2inches
closer to the basket than the lane in the NBA.
But, in lower level leagues they were testing it
this year and they are implementing it starting
next season, so before ricky goes to the Wolves he
will have had time to adjust to the lane.

2nd Assists in Europe/FIBA basket

The main difference and the reason why in europe
the number of assists is so low, is beacuse an
assist is considered only if a basket is made right
away. So no bouce or move or too much time with the
ball basket, is allowed to give away an assist.
This will explain why, even having a shorter range
3pt lane the assists are lower overseas.

3rd FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN RUBIO TRANSLATING TO
THE NBA

stats jennings during his campaign in lottomatticca Rome
last season
27 games, 5.5 ppg 1.6 rb 2.2 as 1.5 st 17.0 mpg
35.1% fg 20.7 % 3pt% in Lega A

ststs Ricky Rubio on FC Barcelona
33 games 6.6 ppg 2.6 rb 4.3 as 2.0 st 19.6 mpg
47.8% fg 40.4% 3pt% in ACB

And besides numbers i have seen them play both in europe, and against each other and Rubio is far better that Jennings.

If anyone didn't see it, Rubio and his team are champions of the Euro League! Check it out on the front page daily news, or the link above.

Boy the Rubio highlights look great. I wish I'd see him hit one shot that isn't a 3 or a layup. Unless he hits the league on a team that forces him to be the top scoring option he should be effective immediately.
Thank you for the baton Mr. Kidd - Pretty Ricky

Awesome post kappo, thanks for the insight! Very glad to have more diverse members here in our forums. Hope to see you around more often.

And lastly, I agree that I think Rubio can, and will be very good in the NBA.
Question: "Why do you shoot so many Threes?"

Antoine Walker: "Because there are no Fours."

Just got back from Europe. I watched the Euroleague Finals live on T.V. Overall, Olympiacos was no match for Barcelona. You could clearly see that Barcelona was more talented and wanted it more. It was a pretty boring Finals game because Barcelona was up by more than 10 pts most of the time. I fell asleep during half time and the 3rd qrt but didn't miss much.

Rubio had 9 pts and 2 Asts.
He didn't play much and didn't make too much of an impact. This was Juan Carlos Navarro game. Juan Carlos Navarro needs to come back too the NBA. He has a pretty nice game, but he needs to find the right situation in the NBA.

Get Rubio. Trade for Rude Fernandez. Sign JCN.

TWolves = multiple championships.

How do we get Fran Vazquez when the Magic own his rights and he's never coming over to the NBA anyways?
Chuck Norris once challenged Lance Armstrong in a \"Who has more testicles?\" contest.

Chuck Norris won by 5.

Great post Diego!

This is the future of the Timberwolves...right here!!!! One more year!

I love how he sees the plays before he even makes his move. He has people jumping all over the place and he doesn't even have the ball.

I agree, thanks for sharing Diego!

And welcome to our forums as well!

Honestly, I'd rather have Rubio's rights than Miller and Foye. Especially since our inept Front Office would be tempted to resign them this offseason!
