Game Thread: Wolves at Portland Blazers (11/21/09) 9 Months, 2 Weeks ago Howls: 260
Season Record: 1-11

Well we have 2 days off again before our next game. However, you are kidding yourself if you think that will make a difference. I won't be around to watch this game, but I have a feeling I won't miss much.

PREDICTION:

Wolves 91 - Blazers 110

Brewer is averaging 12 shots a game. We're fine as long as Brewer gets his 12 shots tonight. Got to get the ball to Brewer. And then he has to shoot it towards the rim area, from wherever he is on the court, as soon as he gets the ball. Go BREWER!!

(my last few posts have been fairly negative, wanted to take a positive spin and break up the monotony)

Wolves 91 Blazers a lot more then 91

Big Al had 20 points and 10 boards, but he also was -28 (!!!) in +/-
Terrible performance overall. Guys like Webster and Blake just kicked our ass. Flynn shot 3-11. He and sessions dished 5 assists combined. Kurt Rambis talking nonsense in the postgame press meeting. The positive? Just 69 games to go until the lottery.

WW was the closest with his prediction.

I'd say I am dissapointed, but that's not true. I am embarrased. At this point I'd trade Glen Taylor for the Devil himself.

I'll second Czaras' trade proposal, heading over to NBA Trade machine to see if it works under the cap

On an even-more-depressing-note, Jennings had 24 of his 26 in the 2nd half to lead the Bucks to a win last night. This puts to bed the argument of: "Of course we're not winning, look at our starting five"

Why do I say that? Let's take a look at Milwaukee's starting 5 last night:

Gadzuric
Ilyasova
Bell (playing SF at 6 ft 3 in!)
Delfino
Jennings

Wow, talk about a murderers row! It's like the 85 Celtics! (with some slight differences)

Milwaukee's record: 8 wins, 3 losses I guess their fan base and management expects them to win this year. Wow, talk about demanding.

CW: Perhaps the Game Thread can be linked to the Sad Thread, might save us all a little time
