Season Record: 1-12

We are 1-12 and our point per game differential is an unheard of -14.8. No one is even close to that number of ineptitude.

Further game analysis can be found HERE.

PREDICTION:

Wolves 94 - Clippers 111

Well somehow the Clippers are only 5.5 point favorites. The Wolves have both failed to cover the spread and lost by double digits EIGHT GAMES IN A ROW. Seriously, both of those streaks are unREAL!

Alright since the wolves suck so bad I've made up a new game to pass time. I'm going to start awarding points and keeping standings on who guesses closest to the actual score of the game.

Here are the rules:
1 timberpup - being the fewest total points off from actual score for a game
2 timberpups - guessing either team's score correctly
5 timberpups - guessing the score of both teams correctly

Whoever has the most timberpups in their wolfpack at the end of the season wins.

Example: If you guessed the score to be 92-98 and it ended up 92-101 you would get 2 timberpups for guessing one team's score correctly. Also, if you were the closest to the total score by being off by only 3 points then you would get an additional timberpup for a total of 3 timberpups.

I'm going to be starting this with this Clippers game.

You know, its time to ditch a little negativity heading into tonight's game. Howl to you Roundhouse for the idea, btw!!

I am actually liking the Wolves chances in this one. Lets not forget that we played this team very closely last time on a back to back. Not to mention that the next game vs Boston was arguably the best of the season so far. With Gordan out, which is def good for us since we can go up against the old R. Davis; and a concentration by all of our bigs on shutting down Kaman, we can steal this one. I'm looking for the win.

Tonight was definitely NOT the night. God, we suck ass. 36 points in the second half? 18 assists and 21 turnovers. Al had 8 turnovers alone, at least 5 of which were traveling calls.

We could go 1-81. How did we win that first game? I mean, seriously.

I told you we could contend for the worst record ever. It's going to be a long time before we win another game. The Clippers played horribly and still came away with a win.

Wolves MVP - Flynn 17 pts on 6-12 FG with 5 assists to 2 TOs. Pretty good game but his defense is still very troubling. At least he's getting more assists than turnovers now though.

Clippers MVP - Al Thornton 31 pts, 10 boards. It's embarrassing what we let him do. He's not even that good.

The "I Wish We Wouldn't Have Given Him Away For Nothing and I Will Never Forgive Kahn For Such A Horrible Trade" Award - Bassy 17 pts, 2-5 3PTS. Bassy is looking real good lately.

-AL had 8 turnovers and got called for traveling 5 times. I don't think I've ever seen traveling called 5+ times in one NBA game (there were other traveling calls in this game as well just can't remember how many) let alone on one player.

-Brewer was 1-5 on 3-pointers. I don't know if I'm more shocked that he took 5 3's or that he made 1. The rest of the wolves were 6-11 while the Clippers were 2-14.

-Flashback to last time we played the Clippers. Down by 3 with a chance to send it to OT and Brewer airballs a 3. Now we're playing the Clippers again, this time down by 4, Rambis sets up a play for Brewer to take a 3. Rambis is either on drugs or tanking, I can't decide which.

-Gomes had a horrible shooting night but made 2 big 3's in the 4th quarter during our rally to tie the game up.

-Marcus Camby's 36 year old legs had 18 rebounds. Sad.

I got back from work and watched the last few minutes of the game online. The Clippers were practically giving us this game. We lost because we couldn’t get a defensive rebound to save our lives, we (Al) had some dumb turnovers in the final few possessions, and Corey Brewer shot a three and a long-range jumper. Oh yeah, and we gave up an easy layup to Baron when we needed a crucial stop.

- I didn’t see him play much, but from the stats it looked like Jonny had one of his best games of the year. I’ll take 17 points, 5 assists and 2 turnovers from him almost every game.

- Al Thornton had 31 points and 10 boards. Jeez.

- Bassy had 17 points. We shouldn’t have traded him.

- We were 7-16 from 3-point range. I guess I have to believe in miracles now.

- After Corey missed a long jumper, a Clippers TV guy said “This team is terrible.” I repeat, a CLIPPERS TV guy said “This team is terrible.” That’s how low we’ve sunk my friends.

- roundhouse comes up with the idea for a game and wins a timberpup right off the bat. Something fishy is going on here.
