I guess I'm not done yet. The Grizz bench = SUCKTASTIC. Wow, their bench blows. If they are going to lose Gay, they should trade him to us first for something like Gomes and Brewer. That would really help both teams. I'd hate to trade Gomes, so maybe Wilkins + Brewer + draft picks.

We shot 55.6%, had 26 assists, and only 7 turnovers. Definitely one of our best games of the year. We've been playing really well lately. The recently small rotation seems to be working wonders?

It will be interesting to see what happens coming up, because our schedule gets a lot harder soon.

I was at the game last night. I was looking closely at how Rudy Gay plays and after watching him play, I would be hesitant to trade Brewer for him or trade for him at all. Maybe he will improve but this is what I think after watching him play closely.

He could shoot and score but that's all he does.
Does not hustle.
Does not play defense.
Not aggressive.
For how athletic he is, he does not attack the basket.
He settles for the jump shot too much.
Does not make his teammates better.
He needs his teammates to create for him.
OJ Mayo is more of a play maker than he is.
Is not a leader and does not show much passion or attitude.

For a guy who's going to be paid a lot of money, he does not make his team better. Most leaders of a team demands the ball and then create for themselves or their teammates. Gay does not do this, he needs his teammates to create for him.

I don't know, he is still young so he might improve. From what I see now, I don't think it's worth it to sign him or to trade Brewer for him because Brewer's hustle is worth a lot more than what Gay could bring right now.

Those are some fair points, thanks for the analysis. I guess I didn't really watch that closely, and its hard to analyze anything right now on Vicodine.

Still, we could trade *something* to Memphis for Gay. Gay is good. I guess it would depend on what salary we get him at. If its something like $8 million per year, then I would be willing to trade slightly more for him. But if he absolutely wants like $12 Million per year no matter what, then I'd definitely not sign him. I'd only trade for him then if we could give up expiring contracts and draft picks, but why would Memphis do that?

It's going to be interesting to see what happens with Gay this off-season. Especially if Memphis makes the playoffs, and teams like the Wolves or Heat or Bulls (aka teams with a ton of cap space) don't get any other of the top "star" free agents.
Question: "Why do you shoot so many Threes?"

Antoine Walker: "Because there are no Fours."

You could have just listed off the reason's he wasn't the #1 pick in the 2006 draft. He's still so talented and skilled that he is a good player but doesn't have that extra drive.

I really want Brewer to be a starter on this Team for years to come.
Thank you for the baton Mr. Kidd - Pretty Ricky

I agree 100%. Gay is way overhyped. I get sick of all the Rudy Gaylove all the time.

This team is really interesting. Are they becoming good? Are they becoming average? Are they still a bad team on a hot streak? We just don't know. Turbo's stretch of play has shown no signs of a let up. Roundhouse, have you any other thoughts on Turbo? Are you warming up to him?

I don't think anybody could have reasonably expected (besides you) that Brewer would figure everything out overnight and that his broke ass shot would turn into Steve Kerr out there. Yes, I definitely am warming up to Turbo 2.0.
