Kentucky got revenge on Tennessee today and slaughtered them.

Cousins was a man among boys out there. He had like 19 points and 15 boards. I kinda wish we needed a guy like this cuz he's gonna be a force in the NBA. But he's also got that Sheed temperament that's gonna get him a lot of technicals.

Wall had a solid game. I'm still absolutely convinced he will be a superstar no doubt about it. I also don't get why people say he's going to be like Marbury or is too immature. He's clearly the leader of that team and he's only a freshman.

Another guy that looked really good was Bledsoe on Kentucky. He was killing it from 3-pt land. Draftexpress has him going 22nd in the 2011 draft, but with the shortage of guards in this year's draft and the uncertainty with the CBA next year, maybe he'll come out. I'm not saying we need another PG, just giving my thoughts on him in general.

Oh yea, and the Gophers are pwning Purdue! Gooooooo Gophers baby

Say what you will about John Wall, Cousins, Favors, anyone else in this draft...

If you watched Evan Turner systematically dismantle every team the Buckeyes played this last week in every way imaginable, you will realize that there is no doubt- he's the best player in College ball right now.

Please, ye basketball gods, send the ping pong balls our way so we can draft 1 or 2. I am convinced that there is not another team out there with the clear need to draft Turner over Wall, so 2 is as good if not better than 1 (since we wouldn't feel the obligation to pick Wall at #2, as he'd be off the board already).

Mark my words, this is the Durant vs. Oden draft all over again, only this Oden is 6'4" and has lingering character and maturity issues rather than a bum knee/back/everything.

Turner is definitely the best player in college basketball. He's also clearly the #2 player taken in the draft.
Thank you for the baton Mr. Kidd - Pretty Ricky

I think we got the 2nd worst record locked. Can you see us winning 4 games to catch up the Warriors?? I don't see it.

Yea that is pretty bold statement wolfenstein. I'll give you a Howl for having an opinion that doesn't follow everyone else. I obviously disagree as I just said I'm positive that Wall will be a superstar but we'll see what happens.

I agree with you on Turner. Turner is pretty awesome, but Durant vs Oden comparison?? I don't think so. There's not way Wall will be an epic fail like Oden. There were a lot of games that Kentucky won because of how Wall took over. Plus, Wall does not play selfish at all. Wall is going to be a All Star.

I would love either one with the Wolves.

Re:Official Draft Position Thread 1 year, 10 months ago #43461

You can't go wrong with either player for the best guy in NCAA this year. Turner's stats are inflated because he handles the ball so much and his teammates suck. He's still good, don't get me wrong. But he wouldn't have near those stats on Kentucky or Kansas.

I think most teams would take Wall, just because a franchise PG is sooooo hard to get.

Lucky for the TWolves, we can't go wrong with either. Turner fits in perfectly to the offense we are (supposedly) running, and Flynn sucks so we still need a PG. Who knows about Rubio ever playing for us. If I were him, I'd stay in Europe instead of ever coming to this dysfunctional mess of a team.

Which is why I hope someway our management can make a trade to make sure we get the top 2 picks this year.

You want both. Maybe a little greedy.
Sure, at least one of the two top picks shuld be ours or there is no hope more for the T-Wolves.

We TWolves fans DESERVE both! Especially if we traded Rubio, which is pretty fair anyways, imo.
