OMFG Chauncey just threw up an alley-oop to JR Smith and he went up and got it and threw it down with a 360 slam.

Easily the dunk of the year.

Probably the coolest thing I've seen all year in the NBA.

Nuggets 110
Wolves 102

Box Score

I'm glad I watched this game for the simple fact that I got to see that dunk by JR Smith.

But onto the game. It was a pretty typical wolves game. Everyone actually played well in the 1st half and we were leading at halftime. Darko was doing his thing, playing D and getting rebounds and there was good ball movement and people were hitting shots.

And then in the 2nd half, everything fell apart t-wolves style. Actually it started with about 2 minutes left in the 2nd quarter when Rambis thought it would be a good idea to match Love up against Melo. In the span of about a minute, Melo scored 7 straight points with one arm tied behind his back while also singing karaoke, as well as being on his cell phone ordering food for after the game. I think he might have been curing cancer as well, but it was hard to tell.

The 2nd half was a disaster, there's not much need to talk about it (except for JR Smith's dunk of course, which was AWESOME).

The biggest thing from this game is that any people who were still holding out hope that AL and Love can play together will now cease to exist. AL + Love was so BRUTAL on defense it's hard to find the right words to even describe it. AL/Love on defense looked like the Nuggets were just doing pregame warmup layup drills. This is not an exaggeration. Anytime Darko would come into the game, it was so noticeable and apparent that our defense was instantly 1000000000000000000000000000000 times better. With that said, I thought the Darko and AL combo did a respectable job.

I'm not going to talk about individual players much, cuz pretty much everyone was good in the 1st half and just about everyone on our team was complete shit in the 2nd half.

Ellington looked really rusty.

Pavlobrick didn't play! Yay!

Sessions shot 2-7 but watching the game it seemed like he played pretty well.

One other note: Darko hurt his hand in the 4th quarter and didn't come back into the game.

Any word on that hand injury? I hope it's not serious. We need his D... which is 308504094095 times better than what the K-Love and Big Al combo can provide.

On that last 3 by Wilkins did anyone see his toenail of his bigtoe was on the line thus making it a 2 point shot so the final score should have been Nuggets 110 Wolves 101! How did the refs miss that.

Dang that sucks for you.

You would have been in 1st place in the standings if you got the score exactly right

exactly what i was thinking when we had the 3 on 1 opportunity. If we get the layup I take the lead. I'll settle for 3 points though as i continue to catch the leaders.

I didn't watch the game, but of course we lost again. Damn, our third quarter was shit-tastic. It is amazing how bad our defense is. Wow, it's just like layup drills against us.

At least Brewer made a three! 29 straight games! Suck it JR Rider!

Love only 27 minutes? Whatever Rambis.

Wow, Darko 12 boards. Good for him.

No Pavlobrick = a minor miracle. Thank god.

We really, really suck. There is nothing else to say.
Question: "Why do you shoot so many Threes?"

That dunk was insane. I was talking to brother on the phone when it happened and dropped the phone. Agree with Roundhouse that this was the dunk of the season so far.

When Darko was a rookie with the Piston's he broke his right hand in the finals and Brown left him in the game to shoot 2 free-throws, telling Darko to tough it out. Darko had to have surgery on the thumb and has had problems with his right hand ever since. If you notice he'll keep looking at his right hand during games as it continues to bother him.

Hopefully the new injury is nothing major and he'll be playing in the next game. He did a pretty good job tonight showing people what he is really capable of doing, too bad he didn't get s few more of his shots to go in.

Thanks for the info on that. I'll give you a Howl when I get the chance.

That sucks cuz when they showed when he came out and was on the bench before he went to the locker room it looked like he was holding his right thumb.
