Hi everyone, I have been on this site many times reading a lot of the posts and I just wanted to say that I feel you guys are being pretty hard on Kahn considering the season hasn't begun and a lot could happen yet. Look what the man started with, a roster full of short, unathletic, overpaid players. Now we are actually under the cap with a roster full of young, athletic players that fit our scheme for once, with picks and cap space on top of it. Sure if we started the season today we might not win 10 games, but the season is not here, there could be something up Kahn's sleeve just yet, maybe.

I LOVE the Wolves but it's hard to justify wtf Kahn's doing. Sure we've gotten more athletic and nabbed a few impact role players(besides BEAS of course)but with the endless possible out comes from having 3 1st round picks and BIG ALCO to spare I believe we could have been better.

Unless we use our capspace on proven studs that we could magically trade for like an IGGY,J SMITH,G WALLACE or any other guy mentioned by Kahn and the Star Trib I think the Kahn era is a complete failure!!!!

Nah, the concern about Kahn is definitely warranted. Have you been following this team as long as most of us here? It's been a brutal history. Who knows if Kahn has any idea what he's doing, or if this team will ever be any good.

Welcome to the TWB forums though, thanks for posting. Good to see new members!

Yeah, I have to agree with you there.

I mean, what else is the point of all this damn cap space if he doesn't use it on a star? I mean, seriously?

Howl.

I agree that all this cap space needs to be used on someone big, not just a bunch of decent players. This league is all about the stars and if you don't have one you will not win. I think Kahn is thinking about cap space to make a trade/sign of a big star. The sign obviously can't be this year but trade, maybe. Kahn has got rid of the garbage on the team and is starting over. I am not on board completely because it all banks on getting Rubio over and getting a star this year or next. I believe things are falling into place if it works out. But that is a big IF ya know? So we shall see, but I think we need to give it time, and I have followed the twolves for a long time, and it is frustrating, but whats another year? lol

P.S. I think what we got for Al Jefferson was actually a steal. Watching him play, yes he can score, but have you noticed that the guy he guards has a career game every game? Whats the point of a guy scoring 24, but gives up 36?

Oh yeah, most of us have noticed that the past two years.

Will be interesting to see if Utah can cover his defensive deficiencies, or if he'll be completely out of place on that team.

Big Al needs to play with a defensive minded 7'er!!! Utah doesn't have that but I do believe he'll play a lot harder under Sloan than Rambis or Mcfail ever pushed him! Having D Williams will get him plenty of open shots, I'm positive he'll score 20 a game. Our conference is so tough though I don't think Utah will be going very far.

The whole problem I see in the unforeseen future is who are we going to trade and along with how many draft picks to land this "STAR" player??? Yea I mean J Flynn has some value, maybe Love or Beas, but who really wants to give up an All Star for any of these guys??? IDK. Hopefully We'll See And Find That Out!!! But I'm Kahnfuzed!!!

Which "Star" do you all wish we would have signed at this point that has signed with another team? Keep in mind the price that was paid.

Ryan Gomes, Randy Foye, and/or Shaun Livingston.

Stupid Kahn.

Hmmm you make a good point Mmaland. I do like Rudy Gay but he'd be hard to swallow at that price.

Shaun Livingston is probably the FA I'm most annoyed isn't on the team given the Sessions trade and Flynn injury, but he isn't a star.
Thank you for the baton Mr. Kidd - Pretty Ricky

That is a great point. And that is why I think a team like us having cap space is overrated. What will it really get us?
