Ya true, not gunna lie I wish we would trade Brewer. We just don't have room for him. Not with Lazar and Webster on the team.

Id still like to trade the brewster but for other reasons. I dont think Lazar will start the league here, he will probably be down in the D League n mite be called up due to an injury or something.

The guy has some game, but he isnt the acquisition i was hoping the t-pups would make...

I agree, trade brewer but keep his goat. Give it to Beasley, he needs a friend. -Pistol Pete 44 forever

Question: "Why do you shoot so many Threes?"

Antoine Walker: "Because there are no Fours."

I'm a little confused why people keep crapping on Brewer this offseason... he was the one guy on the team last year (the only guy, mind you) who showed a great deal of improvement and surprised us with increasingly productive play.

I agree he made great progress but at this point in his development he has 1 more year before the wolves have to give him a qualifying offer or potentially lose him as a restricted free agent. Many people (and I am one) don't believe he will become a starting caliber NBA SG or SF. After 3 years you pretty much know what your going to get and he's still wildly inconsistent. He can get you 25 pts one night and follow it up with 2 pts and 4 pt games. Not what you need from a starting SG night in and night out. I love having a 6'9" SG on my team but I think he's a bench player that comes in with the energy-players second string to play 6-9 minutes per half. I hope I'm wrong and he takes another giant step forward this year and consistently puts up good numbers and plays good defense because when Corey Brewer has it going he's exciting to watch. "So, which one of you guys is going to come in second?" - Larry Bird before the 3 point contest. He won.

I think the main reason is we BADLY wanted a legitimate SG for this team. It didn't happen hence the bitterness toward anyone who is sitting in that SG spot. At least Martell is an unknown so it is easier to talk ourselves into him maybe being good.

Plus can we really see Kahn making Brewer the highest paid guy on the team next year after he has brought in Wes Johnson, Martell Webster and whoever we pick in the top 5 this year?

Hopefully Corey plays his brains out this year and makes it happen.
