Brandon Jennings goes to Europe.

Point guard Brandon Jennings is spending a year playing for Virtus Roma of the Italian League.

I wonder if this will become more commonplace where the top high school players go to Europe instead of the NCAA to play for a year before the NBA draft. The advantages are that he will get paid at least 1 million a year in salary and endorsements. The level of competition is probably better in the Euroleague than college.

I don't think it will become "commonplace", but I think it will start happening more and more often. That's not good for the NCAA, but I definitely don't blame the kids at all. It's ridiculous how bad young student athletes are screwed over by the universities that they make millions of dollars for.

What absurd rules that student athletes can't accept small amounts of money or gifts or whatever.

The Twins have 6 different teams playing in 6 different leagues that they own the rights to. Baseball has a remarkable farm system. The NBA has the D League but each team has the rights to one or two players is all. Why is this?
