CW I'll never look at a box score the same again. I've always noticed what you called the X Trillion but I never had a name for it. Glorious.

Yeah... pretty sweet huh? I usually check most of the boxscores most game days for fantasy purposes (and partly my own curiousity), so one tends to start noticing things like this.
Question: "Why do you shoot so many Threes?"

All the following happened in the SAME game:

- Sean Singletary notched a Two Trillion.

- Robin Lopez was also a foul away from a Two Trillion.

- Louis Amundson was a steal and a missed shot away from his very own Two Trillion.

- Tyronn Lue was just barely one rebound away from a Two Trillion.

- Malik Allen notched a Zero Trillion, so he must have played a few seconds at some point.

- Joe Alexander (rookie phenom lol) was a missed shot, a rebound, and two turnovers away from a Five Trillion!

- BUT... Francisco Elson was one steal and one foul away from a TEN TRILLION!!! BWAHAHA! Do you have any idea how difficult that is to do?!?!

What an epic game for boxscore nerds like myself.

After reading the paragraph above, it makes Brian Cardinal's consecutive Eight Trillion and Three Trillion games' last week all the more impressive! No one is better than The Custodian.

Yeah dude, the Custodian is one of the best! You can't put a price on Boxscore-Trillionaires.

A great game for "Near-Trillionaires." The Philly bench almost cleaned house tonight:

http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=281210020

All these bench stiffs were pretty close, considering the high Trillions they almost notched:

- Theo Ratliff (6 Trillion)
- Royal Ivey (8 Trillion)
- Donyell Marshall (6 Trillion)
- Reggie Evans (5 Trillion)

As for my criteria, I don't consider anyone even a "Near Trillion" unless they have a minimum of 0 points. If they have even one point, there are not even worth mentioning in my book.

P.S. Oh yeah, the Cavs are FOR REAL. They will finish with a Top 3 record in the league this year...

Re:The Official Scouting Other NBA Teams Thread 3 years, 1 month ago #25703

OJ Mayo with "only" 28 more points tonight. Over 50% shooting... 4 of 4 from 3PT, and 8 of 8 FT's.

More impressively, our good buddy Greg Buckner notched a FIVE Trillion in the same game, wooohooo!!!

http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=281214029

AND... Mark Blount almost had a Three Trillion.

Double One Trillions for the Bucks and two near Three Trillions for the Heat:

http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=281215014

Anthony Parker had a solid jab at a Fifteen Trillion. Not quite though:

http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=281215028

Adam Morrison so close to a Twelve Trillion! In the same game, Solomon Jones notched a Three Trillion:

*Brian Scalabrine almost had a Two Trillion tonight, but that's a surprise to no one.

Has anyone watched the Spurs play this year? Please tell me they aren't serious contenders still...

I've got to coach practice tomorrow night and probably won't get to see their televised game, but I'm hoping one of you watches it and lets me know. If I have to worry about those losers getting another shot I'm going to cry. How is it possible to be everything the Wolves aren't, without a top draft pick in almost the last 250 years? Complete joke. We all know two top free agents are going to be enticed by Pop and sign there in the next few years, keeping them up top forever while we dwell in the sewer with my buddy Sweetwater Jones...man he was sweet though...

In other news, The Magic are impressive. The Cavs lost...eh, they're still top 2-3. Are they still thinking about buying out Joe Smith? I can't believe they'd do that, knowing KG would just send Joe a text saying, "it's time," paving way for PJ's replacement. Us Wolves' fans know as good as any that Joe could be a valuable cog for the C's. He's getting old, but is athletic and built to last, it's not like he's played that many minutes or broken down his body too much.

Mario Chalmers... 7 boards 8 assists 5 TO's 20 pts. FYI. Not a fair, I told you so, cuz every other GM passed up on him too. I guess he was a winner in college though...

As I look through the Miami box score, I notice Beasley again in the Love camp, struggling just a bit. He can definitely score, but it doesn't look like he can do anything else to stay on the floor as an NBA contributor right now. He'll learn. So will Love. This was a good draft. I heard this guy Mayo and another dude named Rose were doing well too...

Joe Smith is playing for the Ok City Thunder this year. He has been playing some minutes as a backup. That would be awesome if Boston somehow got him, I agree, but it appears unlikely.

Ahhhh, step ya game up Daddy. OKC. I recall the transition now. Good ol' Joe. In that case, buy out Joe and let's get him back with KG. Then we'll get AP out of retirement, Wally for Scalabrine, and we'll have every right to cheer for Boston.

To clarify... if Joe Smith, Wally and Anthony Peeler where on the Celtics we'd like them more? Is that correct? Could T-Hud get a 10 day?
Thank you for the baton Mr. Kidd - Pretty Ricky

I watched both games on TV last night while doing some work and have a number of observations.

Spurs/Magic – For some reason the Magic just don’t seem like contenders to me. I guess I’m just not a fan of their style of play or their roster. It’s always a joy to watch the Spurs get beat but I just can’t see the Magic beating many teams in a seven game series. I’m still very conflicted between Van Gundy and Mark Jackson’s “# 1 center” argument between Howard and Yao. I’ll go with Perkins then the Birdman Chris Anderson.

I’ve come to the conclusion that Craig Smith and Corey Brewer would play great on the Spurs. Bowen is done. He’s not even relevant. He isn’t even a threat to take anyone offensively anymore – if he ever was. Brewer can come in over the summer, working behind Manu, Finley, and Mason to become the defensive energy wing to complement Parker in the open court. Craig Smith can bang down low as Duncan gets older and wants to take a few more jumpers instead of wearing himself out. It was evident last night he was exhausted (It was a joy seeing Howard run circles around him periodically) and he could use someone else to bang down low for 20 minutes a night. I’ve got no clue how we send them off or why SA likes this idea though…

Phoenix/Blazers. – I think I forgot to add The Suns into my top five NBA teams the other day. I guess I’ll have to take the Hawks out and put them at number 6. Vintage Diesel in the first half was good to see. I love Barbosa, Barnes, Hill (one of my fav players), Amare, and Shaq. I am not, however, a big Nash fan. Van Gundy Brought to light the other night the fact that any team desiring a championship ring has got to be elite defensively. It’s still lost on me how the man could win MVP being an absolute liability on the defensive end. Big Al Jefferson is an offensive juggernaut. But until he learns to become an adequate team defender none of us will be clamoring for him to be in the MVP talks (record aside). I think Nash’s brilliance on offense is offset by his atrocious defense much of the time and Roy showed it several times he got the mismatch.

Oden, get a hold on yourself. I can’t think of one superstar in the league who’s as fragile emotionally as him. He’s already complaining because he’s just “not having fun” and needs pep talks from his AAU coach. I really hope he becomes at least a nimble, 18 pt per game Dikembe-type player.

I am deliberately avoiding Roy’s performance. I don’t want to talk about it.

Yea, that was just ramblings…I’m not really into work this morning.

Another great game by Mayo en route to the Grizzlies NOT blowing a huge lead to the Mavericks.

P.S. Darius Miles with the Two Trillion HAHAHA!

P.P.S. At least he's playing! C'mon, 9 more games and it screws the Blazers!

If the two trillion was a legitimate NBA stat Brian Cardinal and Mark Madsen would be all-stars.
