Matters little to the rest of the league. The Knicks will probably improve off of this. Harrington is more well rounded.
GS adds yet another wing who can contribute solely by the amount of buckets he scores. That puts them at about 8 shoot-first wings. I imagine he'll play point there. Great idea...Eh, if they don't want to give away any we could always use an extra swingman or three.

“Who? Erica Dampier?”
“He could be dominant -- if he played in the WNBA.” (Shaq quotes in Reference to Erick Dampier)

Good trade for NY I think. Plus, it moves Nate Robinson into the starting lineup who has been a stud under D'Antoni...

Agreed.
Now they are trying to trade Randolph? They are cleaning house.

I know! How many teams now are "Clearing Cap Room For LeBron/Class of 2010" now? I count at least 4...
-Nets (w/Kidd trade last season)
-Detriot (Iverson Deal)
-Pacers (with every move they make)
-Knicks
Anyone I'm missing?
What happens is Wade, Bosh, Lebron, etc sign extensions with their current teams?? You've just spent 2 yrs as the league's dirty diaper for nothing.

It does matter a little, Harrington is on my fantasy team

someone dropped harington from my fantasy team earlier when we quit w back problems/team issues. I just snatched him up.
also, as an true east coaster, I am glad to see the knicks getting rid of their team, even if it ends up being a losing effort to get lebron (which it won't). Too bad they can't get any takers on curry or marbury.

Well the Knicks have moved Randolph and Mardy Collins to the Clips for Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley.
Donnie Walsh has earnt his pay today.
That's $27mil off the 2010 cap.

Wow... I am amazed as to what he has done already. Good for him, I thought rebuilding the Knicks would be next to impossible.
I think there is a good chance LeBron goes there in 2010...

I'd have to think the starters are Zach and Kaman? They could rotate all three around... but I would think they would want to limit Camby's minutes since he's old and injury prone.
Anyone think the Chris Kaman trade rumors are true? I could see them trading him and his somewhat bad salary now that they have Zach and Camby too.
