Thoughts from some games I watched on NBA.com last night.

The Bobcats played in front of a Wolves snow game crowd. Why is Larry Brown wasting his time? Oh man did the Nets and the Bobcats look HORRIBLE.

Kings - Jump shots, jump shots, jump shots. They even started Sean May and he was taking jumpers a foot inside the 3 point line with 10 seconds left on the shot clock. Announcers reaction, "He has to take and make those shots". Do they have him confused with Chris Webber?

Larry Hughes is in a contract year and is having good games. Odd.

Why is May starting over Hawes? That pisses me off because I have Hawes on my WCOAKDF team. Plus Hawes is younger, better, and more versatile. Stupid Kings.

The Celtics look legit. Man Rasheed was a great addition.

Iverson played 18 minutes last night. 5-9 for 11 points and only 2 turnovers (but no assists.) Is that all he is at this point in his career? If he had a better attitude and was coming off the bench for someone like Boston or SA I think he'd still be a stud.

Thabeet blows. So glad we didn't have the chance to draft him.

Hawes was the only one not shooting jumpers for the Kings and it made a huge difference. When May came it out it appears Hawes never left the game.

Having Thabeet < Rubio draft rights
Having Thabeet < Ryan Hollins

I saw moments of the Jazz-Rockets game last night while flipping between MNF and the World Series.
It seems to me that Aaron Brooks is the real deal. He was driving on guys with ease and making great passes for easy layups/dunks, and doing it against Deron Williams too!

Chase Budinger looked alright too; poised and confident.

Yea I watched the end of the Kings-Grizzlies game too. The Grizzlies offense consists of OJ and Rudy Gay taking turns going 1-on-1.

Maybe they were limiting AI's minutes because it was his first game back? I don't know he doesn't fit on their team at all the wolves should trade for him.

Once Z-Bo fouled out in OT it was over. They looked terrible w/o him which is funny because teams are usually worse w/ him.

And yes, Thabeet is terrible.

I thought the same thing about Larry Hughes. Leave it to Larry to suck for the past 3 or 4 years and now step up because it's a contract year. The sad thing is if he has a good year some stupid team will pay him.
Chuck Norris once challenged Lance Armstrong in a \"Who has more testicles?\" contest.

Chuck Norris won by 5.

I only watched the 1st half of the Grizz-Kings. They had pretty solid ball movement. It seemed that they would move it around a lot and find Z-Bo open and he'd take the shot.

It doesn't surprise me that as the game went on they got lazy. Mayo and Gay looked excellent when I was watching. I was watching when AI first checked in. It just looked preposterous. You could watch the gears of his mind seizing as his first instinct was to dominate the ball but his brain was saying he had to move the ball.

Iverson pissed about sitting during most of the 1st quarter. Ummm Memphis, if you thought Allen would be cool with playing behind Mike Conley off the bench you are dumber than I thought.

What a shame. I thought AI was better than that. Shame on me, I guess.

Poor Coach. I feel bad for him.

That AI thing sucks...for the Grizz coach. I mean seriously, he's new to the team, and coming back from injury. He really had to complain after his FIRST GAME like that? That sucks.

HOWL to Pants for starting this thread and his general awesomeness in the forums the last few days.

Nellie still hates Anthony Randolph and here is a backhanded compliment to prove it.

"He's not necessarily a good-shooting '4,' but he could be a good-shooting '5' because 5's don't shoot the ball very well from the outside normally," Nelson said.

Wow. Did Randolph run over Nellie's dog on on the way to his first Summer Camp?

Nellie is such a moron. I can't believe he is coaching that team with all those young guys. He should just retire already...

I knoooow. What a shame. Every year he gets a freak injury. I wouldn't even call him injury prone. For the first time in a long time, I didn't have him on my fantasy team(s), which is a relief at least.
