In his latest podcast (with Dave Dameshek) he was talking about a Favre comeback and moving to another team. Dameshek brought up the Vikings fans not wanting him and Simmons dashed that saying they would because Favre isn't a villain. One of the most infuriating things he's ever said. All stems from the fly over country belief system. Midwestern rivalries are very significant because CBS hasn't spend 20 years telling us that they are as big as Red Sox/Yankees or Redskins/Eagles.

Wow. I might have to go listen to that. He is soooooooooo wrong its not even funny. I'd rather lose games than have Favre and maybe win a few more.

What's the problem with Favre? He's got a heap of talent and he's no Pacman Jones. Don't we all like winning?

I'd take Favre on the Vikes and I hate him. He's public enemy #1 to Vikings fans. He would make us a legit contender, but the reason I would do it is because it would be awesome to see the madness, riots, and widespread depression that would break out in Wisconsin.
