TOPIC: Lions Futility May Be Profitable

Lions Futility May Be Profitable 3 years, 1 month ago #26184

No one in the history of the NFL has been better at losing:

I wish I thought of this business Idea:

Hahahahaha the Lions suck sooooooooo bad.

Question: "Why do you shoot so many Threes?"

Antoine Walker: "Because there are no Fours."

Re:Lions Futility May Be Profitable 3 years, 1 month ago #26198

Sooo true! But he's gonna sell a TON of t-shirts when they lose this weekend.

I am so mad at myself right now. Why didn't I think of this!??!?!?

Ooooh!!! And we could make up a bunch of sizes that don't exist but list them as SOLD OUT to make it look like our site is popular

Sample:

Small - $20.00
Medium Small - SOLD OUT!
Medium - $20.00
Medium Large w/ Fries - SOLD OUT!
Large - $20.00
XL - $20.00
XXL - $20.00
You're too fat to be alive - SOLD OUT!

Hmmm... Unfortunately "2008-09 Timberwolves 11-71" shirts won't have quite the same appeal.
\"I bet Belichick is the type of guy who peeks at your controller as you\'re selecting a play in Madden.\"

\"Belichick doesn\'t play video games -- it\'s too difficult to hold the controller while wearing his five Super Bowl rings.\"

Hey, what's up with Culpepper? I remember he ALMOST won them the game (got dropped at 1 yard illegally but the refs didn't see it) which was his first for them this season... now I see that the pathetic Dan Orlovsky is the starting QB. Did Daunte get injured?

It shouldn't matter whether your team is 0-16 or 8-8. They miss the playoffs anyhow. Tommorrow Vikings are going to get beaten by the Giants. Chicago wins and...oops, we're out of the playoffs.

Hope not, but...

Haha!

Well, isn't the nba record for futility 9 wins and 73 losses? Still doesnt do it for me.

How about this Slogan: "2008-2009 Minnesota Timberwolves - We don't quit until we break a sweat."

"2008-2009 Minnesota Timberwolves - Stumbling awkwardly to franchise lows"

"2008-2009 Minnesota Timberwolves - The year of the expiring contract(s), part 2"

A little Twolves poem via Humpty Dumpty

In Nineteen Hundred and eighty nine
The Twolves were born and everything was fine
The Roundball was coming to this northernly town
And all Minnesotans were seeking a crown
Then half-brained McHale joined up with our staff
And championship hopes were dashed with a laugh
From his GM post he ruined our team
And Humpty Mchale was his new name
Humpty McHale sat on a wall
Humpty McHale started coaching this fall
All of the kings horses and all the kings men
Couldn't make the Twolves Winners again
I dunno. I never smoked any Astroturf.”
