Much to the chagrin of many of us. Oh well, can't win em all. I'll get on board since apparently it's a reality.

I really don't think this is even a good football decision in the longhaul. He is 40. He skipped training camp. He's been an average QB overall for the last 5 years or so. I say he's getting by on reputation alone, and is obviously not being a team player either. Even Jordan couldn't get to the playoffs when he launched his last comeback, and that was on a 5 player team, not a 22 player team. Jerry Rice faded into obscurity his last few years. And these are the greatest of the greats. Favre is done. This is horrible on so many levels. Those that think he's taking us to the SuperBowl are dilusional. I liked our chances just the same without him.

I'm actually glad that he finally signed with us (although it took waaay much longer than it should have), but not about the fact of him playing for us, but more so for the fact that he, as an all time QB great, can teach TJ sage and booty a lot of things. whether or not he leads us to a super bowl, its good that our QB's have someone like favre to learn from, cuz honestly, we have just average QB's on our roster. TJ isnt gonna get us anywhere in the postseason for a few years.

WHOA!!!!! hahaha I know most of you guys don't like it...but I love it!!!!!

Sage is a good backup. TJack Sucks! Brett Favre is old but he's better than what we have.

We have One of the best Defense.

The best RB.

Solid WRs.

Solid QB in Favre.

Lets Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also... I love it because in a million years I never even think that I would see a Brett Favre #4 Vikings Jersey. How cool is that to see the hated Packer's god turn on them and join us!!!!!

Re:Favre is back... 2 years, 5 months ago #35733

Kill me please.

Any true Minnesotan and/or Vikings fan should be sickened by thought of Favre playing for the Vikings.

It is doubly galling that this would happen on the day of my Fantasy Football draft. Atleast I'll be basking in the glory of two new wing flavors at BW's.

Seems like I'm in the minority here but I love the move. He made a below average Jets team into a contender, then he hurt is arm and went into a tailspin. The Vikings are leaps and bounds ahead of where the Jets were last year. Favre is going to make our offense so much better with defensive coordinators trying to stop our running game, our play-action passing game will be the best in the league I guarantee it. Favre wont be asked to do too much, that is the key.

Favre gives this team the best chance to win the Super Bowl, period. Anyone who thinks that Sage or T-Jack is a better option is lying to themselves. We're still a 10+ win team, but in the postseason is where I'm most excited to have Favre with the Vikings. Like Ice Cube said, "Today was a good day."

Marco is a lucky man.

Ok Favre did not turn the Jets into a contender. They didn't even make the playoffs because he played so terribly the 2nd half of the season.

In the meanwhile Chad Pennington led the Dolphins to the playoffs who had a 1-15 record the season before that.

He probably is a slight upgrade over Sage and a huge upgrade over TJack who sucks but I'm sick of it all.

Why won't he just retire?

Chuck Norris won by 5.

What's the deal with Favre? Is he leaving the Jets? Is he going to retire?

Sorry, I'm currently getting all my news from Marca.Com or El Periodico, was impressed with how they handled the Rubio situation and now use them as my sole information source. A little out of the loop.

At least now I can sell my season tickets to the Vikes-Packer game for an ungodly amount...
