Dec.17th "I have every intention of coming back," Favre said after practice Wednesday.

Jan. 30th "I haven't decided yet," said Favre
"The game the other day will not play into my decision making," said Favre, a three-time league most valuable player. "I'm not going to let one game affect my future one way or another."

Why would reporters think he was letting that game affect his decision... he only said one thing for 3 weeks before the game and then said a completely different thing after it. Typical reporters jumping to conclusions.

Reporters are stupid. They will (and do) report anything just to get the "fresh scoop."

Everyone should just move on.

3 years ago when even before the ridiculousness of last summer I heard Dan Patrick say on the radio that all of the crazy hullabaloo over Favre waffling on retirement comes from him. That is loves to let little remarks slip about it through time to keep focus on his stuff. As a Favre hater I 100% believe that.

Yeah, I remember that. I believe it too.

It may have sounded like it in my original response, but I'm definitely NOT a Favre fan. I'm just so sick of him I don't really care anymore what he does.

AH YES!!! This IS something we can agree on!!! Favre should hang it up...They should investigate him for performance inhancing drugs...
