We got spanked by Ohio State and STILL made it in. Wow. I'm kind of surprised.

So, what do you guys think of the NCAA Tournament seedings?

I don't have a problem with the No. 1 seeds. I do have a problem with Duke's region. They're the third No. 1 seed, but they have the easiest path? They should at least have West Virginia or Ohio State in their bracket. The selection committee can try to hand Duke a Final Four appearance, but they can't stop the Blue Devils from choking. I bet they lose in the second or third round.

And wow, Kansas. Congrats on getting the No. 1 overall seed. You get to fight your way through the toughest region in the tournament.

At least the Gophers got in. If you would have told me Minnesota would be dancing at the start of the Big Ten Tourney, I would have called you an idiot. Tubby's got those boys playing well to end the season.

Kentucky is the 2nd best team and they get put in the 2nd hardest bracket with a ton of dangerous teams. They also have West Virginia in their region which should have gotten a 1 seed over Duke.

BTW Kentucky should have been in the South, Duke should have been in the West (cuz they're the weakest 1 seed, West Virginia should have gotten it), and Syracuse should have been in the East (which is in Syracuse!!!).

Syracuse's region has solid teams but unspectacular.

DUKE HAS A FREE TICKET TO THE FINAL FOUR! WTF! This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. They get Purdue as a 4 seed and Villanova as their 2 seed who are really struggling. The only good team in their entire region is Baylor while Kansas' region is loaded.

Sooooo stupid. None of it makes any sense to me.

Gophers are going to beat Xavier and Pitt before falling to Kansas St.! I believe.

Yeah, the seeds are bad. Purdue #4? They won't even win in the first round.

Kansas and Kentucky get screwed, relatively speaking. Kansas will still make the final four, not sure about Kentucky though.

Duke!?!?! Screw that shit. Lame. Thank god they'll choke. I like Baylor.

California, you played in the worst major conference in the country and lost twice to Washington, the conference tourney champs. Let's give you an 8 seed and Washington an 11 seed.

Notre Dame, you should probably be a 10 or 11 seed and were lucky just to get into the tournament, but you have Luke Harangody on your team. Here's a 6 seed.

And Purdue, we know Robbie Hummel is injured and you'll be lucky to get out of the first round, but here's a 4 seed because we just really like to see teams get rewarded for having white stars, whether they're healthy or not.

I hope we see either Baylor or A&M come out of that bracket.

Yea I hope Baylor comes out of that region too but let's face it: Duke is pretty good and doesn't have to face any competition really until Baylor or the Final Four.

Stupid committee is in love with Duke. Wtf. At least we know Duke will choke at some point like usual. That makes me feel better.

How the hell did Florida did a 10 seed? I was amazed that they even got included in the tourney. They sure didn't deserve to be.

Not only are the top seeds completely effed up, like you're saying ALL the seeds are messed up.

Were these dudes drunk or what. I could have sat down and done a much better job without even seeing a bunch of these teams even play before.

I just read an article by Steward Mandel on SI.com saying this is the worst bracket he's ever seen.

Here are my thoughts:

The Midwest is ridiculously stacked (as previously stated)!!
Georgetown, OSU, MSU, OK ST., MARYLAND!!!! Forget about it. I think Kansas will prevail and win the tourney, but this is unbelievably tough. Kansas vs. Georgetown in a great final 8 battle.

Now the West. If I were to pick a huge upset of a 1 losing to a 16, which has never happened, it would be Vermont beating 'Cuse. Syracuse is missing there big man Arinze Onuaku for at least the first game and has limped down the stretch with a 4-3 record. Not saying I will choose Vermont, but I like the idea. Also, saw them win there conference game and dug the hell outta there star Marqus Blakely.
One more thing, I just read something kinda funny; Vermont beat Syracuse in there last meeting, the first round of the 2005 tourney. Vermont was a 14, Cuse a 3.
Florida a 10?? Ridiculous. UTEP over Butler and Gophers to the sweet 16 before losing to Kansas ST. I'll take K-St. over Cuse in this bracket.

The East: Definitely the second toughest bracket. I'll take two upsets off the bat though; Cornell beating Temple and Wofford beating Wisconsin. Wofford, making there first tourney appearance, has former Brahm star Noah Dahlman, the Southern Conference player of the year, anchoring their team and they have Cindarella written all over em. Here's to hopin! (Sorry, WI ppl...)
I think W. Virginia wins this bracket.

Lastly, the South: Even with the easy schedule, Duke will lose in the 16 to A&M. Siena to upset Purdue. Baylor, one of my faves in this thing, to win this bracket.

I think it'll be Kansas beating West Virginia in the end.

I agree about Syracuse, not that they will lose to Vermont, but that they won't go far. I have them falling to Butler. Like I said I have the Gophers falling to K. State.

Kentucky has too much talent not to make it to the Final 4, although I wouldn't be surprised if they lost to W. Virginia.

I have Siena upsetting Purdue as well but had to go with Duke to make it the Final 4, there bracket is just sooo shitty and although I really like Baylor and Ekpe Udoh, I think Duke will triumph. (unfortunately)

I don't see Duke making it to the Final Four because Villanova will pick up there game and make it to back to back Final Fours.

Haha Notre Dame is the 1st "high seed" from the South Region to lose. How did they get the 6 seed in the 1st place?

Villanova is losing to 15 seed Robert Morris with 7 minutes left in the game.

How can anybody take the NCAA seriously when they so obviously paved such an easy path for Duke?
